Eibach advises their Sportline springs are for 79-04 Mustangs "exc. convertible". The only difference I can think of is the spring rate for the added rear end weight in the vert. I wouldn't think it would be significant but was wondering if anyone else had tried before I bother. I'm pretty sure I'll be dissappointed w/ the Pro Kit drop because everyone complains about barely being able to tell it's lowered. Thoughts/experiences appreciated.

H&R SS springs or Race springs would be a MUCH better option

yea dude, listen to everyone you've heard. Pro kits will dissapoint you and you'll wish you never spent the money.
Go with sportlines, or HR supersports. The race springs suck, it doesnt lower you any and it handles like arse

They say this cause the verts like 200 pounds heavier than a coupe....think about it.

Your cars gonna have a wierd stance...probably too low, I would imagine the back would be lower than the front..lol

the H&R race spring will lower your car and it will ride like a dream!! (ask me how i know) sportlines have a harsh ride and you will end up hating them (once again, ask me how i know)

H&R Race Springs

* Lowers 1.75-2.5 inches on average
* Designed for race look and responsive, tight handling

Best bet: Consider the suspension kit in my sig. I got the whole package for just over $500 and couldn't be more pleased with it. Nice drop also!
The car rides better than brand new!
