spray or brush?

well, ive decided to paint my calipers but i dont know what to go with, a brush on or a spray on.
im not to worried about having to remove my calipers from my car.
but i want it to last, i dont want it flaking up in a year.
which is better a spary on or a paint on that is the question.
ive found both reltivly cheap from jegs any other good brand stuff out their i should use instead?
i have a silver car should i go with black or grey?

just remember the more time you spend on it the better it will look and last, personally id get the brush on stuff. Most likely its higher quality paint than any spray paint your going to get

I got the brush kit and its enough for three cars I only did two and coated the hell out of them and still have plenty left for touch up .

now the brush kit wont that leave brush strokes. and i dont have to take them off for that do i?

Its better to take them off and remove the pads, not hard and no you dont see any brush marks

awesome, thanks for the quick replys. now that i go back and look at it its also the cheper one. casue the spary say about 2 to 3 cans for 1 applcation . at 10 bucks a pop that 20 to 30 dollar instead of the brush on for 18.

now if my stimlus check would come in before my pay check ill be in great shape.

Go with the duplicolor brush on kit. It's easy to use and VERY durable. I painted my calipers 2 years ago and i just wipe them off between washes and they still look like the day i painted them. I did them off the car with the pads off. The paint dries fast though. I recommend getting some brake cleaner, disassembling the caliper (leave it connected) and paint them and let it dry for an hour or so and them put them back together carfeully.

The rotor hats are spray on high-temp engine paint.

I'm thinking of painting also, grey or black, not quite sure yet though.

I originally has my stock GT calipers painted bright aluminum (silver) before i did the 13" upgrade and went red.

Duplicolor now has the ceramic brake caliper paint in a can. If you take your time and do it right and do several light coats, I didn't use but 1/2 a can maybe on my front brakes. only spent 14 and I got a can of black and red. personal preference I guess
