ive done several spring installs so im pretty familiar with the mustang suspension. the thing is i have done some of them different ways in the front. the first one i did i used the write up here on stangnet and disconnected the strut from the strut tower and that went fine. i also have kept the strut intacted on the tower and removed the two nuts holding the strut to the spindle, and that went fine also. i like that method more because you dont have to wrestle with the strut while lowering and raising the A-arm. my question is which one does everyone that has done their own install and not used a spring compressor prefer, and why.
