Spring installation & another random question

Does $210 to install a set of H&R Supersports on an 01 GT seem a little high? What have some of you paid for installation? Trying to find a reputable shop in the LA area that won't take my arm and leg with the cash.

Also, this past winter, when I would start the car and for a while (usually until the engine warmed up) I would hear a constant, high pitched (but quiet) knocking sound coming from the engine. When I would get out to try to locate the noise, I couldn't hear it anymore. Now that spring time is starting to roll around and the weather is warmer I haven't heard it. Any idea what it was and if I should look into it further?

i did my springs myself... took a few hours, but well worth it!

would love to do it myself but i don't have any tools whatsoever. no ramps, and not even a garage or driveway large enough to begin thinking about doing it in. LA's not good for stuff like that (unless you can afford to drive a spyder or murcielago, in which case you wouldn't be asking a question like that on this board anyway)
