Since everything is unbolted where do I get a rebuild kit for my differential?
I guess this spun bearing(s) either happened during my 25second burnout infront of my work or while driving at tripple digit speeds on my way to NH to see my ex. Or it could have been during that drive up where I raced a convertable newer SS-he didnt win and I dont know why.

Where can I get parts asap? I want my car back on the road before it freakin snows.

I dont know much about the rear axle, is there any thing else I should do while its apart? The diff. rebuild kit is needed b/c I'm too broke for a nice piece and I dont want to see any one wheel burnouts at the New England Drag Way.

Thanks

I had a loud whining noise.
My buddy took the rear axle apart. After I cooked the thing on the way home one of the two pinion bearings was now allowing anything to spin when turned by hand.
He is taking care of everything for me.
RIO have you used this kit?
I need to buy stuff fast the car has been on his lift for a week and I bet he's getting pissed.

Personally, no...
I have read others have though and no complaints...Its the full set-up for like 150.00 or so?? Thats from catalogs I get from em...

You only have 1 pinion bearing...must be the carrier bearings...There's 1 bearing one each side of the dif..

Good luck with it...

There is actually two bearings for the pinion gear, one large and one small. I've had the rear end on my car apart a few times so I know this for sure.

I stand corrected..must be the one up by the pinion nut?? Sealed bearing?? Having a brain cramp here...:D
