Squeak in dash... I found...

On my 06 GT I noticed kind of chirp/squeaking sound for awhile, well today I was just sitting there with door open
and I noticed there is a foam barrier that blocks the gap from engine bay, well at the top I pushed it in alittle
and repoduced the sound,, I'm like "AHHAA THERE YOU ARE AHOLE"!
Just thought I would share this info.

Was it in the corner on the drivers side? I have the same squeak. Where is the foam again? Pics?

Pushing on the foam may have helped reproduce the sound but you need to get something between the 2 moving parts that are squeaking to make it go away. I can push on the top of my dash a produce the squeak as well How does that do me any good?

Sorry I'm really annoyed with my squeaking dash and I can't wait to get a fix for it.

My camera is on the fritz, anyways open drivers door and look where the front finder mounts to the body.
Ford filled the gap with simi hard gray foam,at the top by the A piller is where it rubs...
