Last week I installed my underdrive pulley's and now im getting a loud squeaking noise coming from that area. Im not sure if its the pulley's themselves or if its the new serpintine belt I put on with the pulley's. Is this normal with new pulley's or a new belt? would some belt dressing fix this or can I do something else to quiet it down. the car runs great and the noise is not effecting performance. Can I get some help guys?

Ensure the pulleys are all in alignment (a machinist's straight edge can help). If one pulley is a little cockeyed, the belt will squeak.

Personally, I would not use any belt dressings.

Good luck.

I agree with Hissin 100%. I bet one of the pully's is out a little and needs to be aligned. I have a little tool for aligning pully's it's a plastic piece with groves like a belt that fits in the pully with a laser that points to the other pully's when you turn it. But a strait edge works good.

Just took a look at it and it looks like my water pump pulley has a little wobble to it, could this be the problem? I thought I got it seated on there right.

As I recall, the hub under the WP pulley can get kinda rusty. Might take a little quick sanding/scotchbriting to get clean surfaces again.

Good luck.
