this just popped up, but when i turn i get a loud squeek, like a door hinge w/o oil but lower pitched. it will also surface over bumps, but the squeek is alot louder when turning, than over bumps. im thinking its a busing somewhere, which one should i start with?

Thats either your tie rod ends or your balljoints going south. One way to check it would be to jack up the front end and have someone turn the wheel lock to lock to see if you can isolate it better that way. Mine did that exact same thing and it turned out to be balljoints, while others have the same thing happen and it turns out to be tie rod ends. A stethoscope works wonders if you have access to one.

I just did had this prob. I was told more then likely is ball joints but it was actually the tie-rod ends. Like mentioned get someone to turn the wheel while ur under the car, get a metal tube or somthing so you can isolate where the noise is comming from since the ball-joints are very close to the tie-rod ends.

Mine did the squeaking as u described ONLY when I turned the wheel to the left. I poked a hole in the boot and injected it with Lithium grease in a can. It worked. But its more of a band-aid procedure.
