Hey everyone~
I have a squeak in my front end. not necessarily have to drive. I can hear it sitting still and turning the wheel. Any Idea as to the cause?
I'm thinking it is related or caused from the misalignment of my front end. At first I thought someone had upgraded the bushings along with the lowering kit but since I noticed they didnt even install C/C plates (on order) I'm not so sure anymore.
And to top it off...at 40-45mph I have a vibration that feels tire related. specifically the right front.

Thanks in advance
Mike

the vibration is a front tire balancing issue. have them balanced for $50. the squeak is strange though. ive got what i think is the same squeak by the way you described it. i thought it was the rack bushings, but after new MM aluminum bushings, the squeak/clank almost seemed to get worse  Ford engineering i guess

Thanks for the reply.
After taking a good look at the front rubber, the inner of both tires is WAY cupped.
So I'm hoping the C/C plates will resolve this.
Had the rubber rebalanced and it helped a little. reduced the vibration from slow to 30mph to a 40-45mph band.

thanks all

Cupped tires is mosy likely wheel bearings or severe wheel imbalance. I think you definitely need to check your wheel bearings. Is there a howling at high speed when slightly turning the wheel to one side or the other?
