I have this squeeky noise whenever i turn the wheel and im stoped or going just taking off in 1st gear... any one have any idea what it is.. it sounds like it just needs some greace or something

I had a squeak on mine for a long time and finally noticed that it would make the noise when I'd turn the steering wheel, even when stopped. I did some investimigating and discovered that the tie rod ends were completely dry of grease. Lubed 'em up and no more squeak. I have a 98 and it's equipped with the grease fittings, I know that the newer models are not. Maybe it's possible to lift the grease boot up and put some grease under it. If that doesn't work, then the tie rod end may have to be replaced.

Im going to just poke it as close as i can to the top, i dont think your able to pull the boots up or down. Im sure you could to one to fit a grease nipple, but pullin the rod end would be a PITA. I would probably just replace them if their not an arm and a leg
