Just watch out if he has upgraded the blow off valve to bump up the boost and done some extra things to his car. I saw one at the track a few weeks back that was running 12.9 so they CAN be fast. But if its stock you shouldnt have any problems.
I think something is just up where you live because look at your times. Those are really damn good for not having much done. Is the air better there or something.
I often take that into consideration as well. There's definitely a huge difference from one track to the next. I had better times at one track before a tune, under drive pullies and shifter than I did at the other track after all that was done with the same 60 ft's. One track is slightly downhill and definitely has faster traps.
Like I say, I've yet to see one break into the 13's at the slower track.
As long as your car is running right you should take him no problem with those mods. I'm thinking you could probably trap 107 with that setup which is much more mph than stock/slightly modded SRTs.
i think you mena a "boost controller" to up the boost
Not sure exactly what I mean but his friend told me he had upgraded the BOV and done some other stuff. And I saw him run 12.9. That's all I know, just saying dont under estimate them.
