Hey Dan, yeah we did. The center of it was not to far from where I live. I had just gotten home. It shook the whole house I thought it was a low flying plane at first.
I was sitting in my car talking on the phone with my sister when it hit. A truck had just gone by me and at first I thought it was the truck shaking the ground. Then when my sister started swearing about something going on I knew it was a earthquake. My car was shaking and rocking a bit. Called my wife and she said it shook the whole house and was really loud. We live in a town next door to where it happened. Pretty cool and glad nothing of ours was damaged.
A couple of hours before that there was more excitement when some nut job shot at his wife and mother in law. Then he set the house on fire. That got a tons of police involved. The house is completely gone and a pickup in the driveway is extra crispy. Could see the smoke from a long ways off.
I'll look into it further next spring Fred. Just was to put off with everything to try and figure it out with what was left this summer. Bryan I was hoping you were on the toilet taking a big dump when it hit.
i got the mighty slowness all set up for the winter. I put a whole 150 miles on her this year. Had a ing mouse get into it and chew up some insulation and make a nest in the trunk. luckily that was all the bitch did. took me all day to clean out the nest and the along with a full detail inside and out just cause lol.
Buuuut the cover is on, she is on stands without the wheels on, tank got a bottle of Stabil and the battery is out for the winter. The snowmobile is in position for snow not that we will get any lol. I smoked a buck with my bow a few weeks ago and last but not least school ing sucks but the scenery is damn nice!
wow that sucks. I almost tagged a doe with my car a couple of nights ago. I was heading up the on ramp of the turnpike in Wells at night when a doe just walked out into the road. I tapped the horn and thankfully it turned around and ran back into the woods instead of into the highway traffic. Yesterday there was a nice big blood stain on the highway in the Kennebunk area.
Looks like it time for a inspection sticker while your at it.
