awesome, was up at my dads mid week and did some shooting. Finally got to try out my compact .40 and it shot very well, was shooting my reloads from LAX Ammo and I had 0 issues w/ it. Good stuff.

Shot the AR as well, was hitting steel plates off the bench w/ a red dot and steel case ammo at 240 yards...PING PING.

Been giving serious thought to the para ordnance 1911. Rebate only lasts until the end of the month. $100 off makes it attractive.

You should do it. First half of my move is done, staying with family in falmouth now well have been for the past 2 weeks but I got the garage cleaned out in casco so I'm fully out of there. I'll be moving to westbrook in early July

I didn't jump on the deal. Found another earlier this week that I'm really sad I didn't do. There was a deal for a nickle boron finished ATI full sized that went for $289 after rebate. Had that one in the cart while at work but didn't have the FFL info on me so I figured I would wait till I got home. It was gone by the time I got home. That was a smokin' deal and I should have jumped on it obviously others did. Less than $300 for a 1911!

Guy at work today told me about a guy that he knows that is getting rid of his Ford Lighting, does not have the stock Eaton on it but did not know much about it. Said the guy may be open to trades, thought crossed my mind but I doubt he would be interested in the Cobra, just been modded to much in one direction.

could be trading one problem for another. My buddy Daryl recently sold his Lightning. Now he has a Lincoln with a 5.4 swap.

haha, I dont have any problems meaning that I want to get rid of it in that sense nor would I ever outright sell it but if I got an offer for a KB Blown or nicely modded lighting for a straight up trade Id seriously consider it. I didnt get the guys number yesterday so I'll have to wait until I go back to work monday and talk w/ my co worker again so I can get it. Just curious

Thats always a good thing. I have not done any gun stuff for awhile now. Just signed the lease on the new place last night and I'll be moving in at the end of this month and the first of july. Want to be moved in before the weekend of the 4th b/c thats the start of my next vacation, I'll have everything moved in by then but I want to have it all set up by then.

Moved the stuff out of where Im staying now into the new place, all the stuff from the storage unit is going over on monday then I'll be moved in. Will probably start staying there monday night. Have not met any of the new neighbors yet, hoping for some hot college chicks home for the summer. Talked for awhile with the general contractor who was there today and he gave me a good run down on everyone in the development.
