Glad to see the car is coming along bryan, hopefully its running by spring. Its getting pretty cold though your nipples must get hard working on it now.

Mike I did not know Pepsi closed down, thats crappy. Did you end up at pine state or are you still looking?

Dan, Giants suck and Eli is only half the talent as the sweat on Tom Brady's nut sack.

Things were busy this summer w/ moving and I was doing a lot of riding, logged just short of 6,000 miles. In the process of taking the fairing kit off it now and replacing it w/ a new one in the spring. I lost my lower while riding on the Kancmangus highway. was lucky not to run it over and lay it down in mid corner. Drove the cobra twice this summer and that was from moving. Really not sure what I want to do with it. I'm done modding it or should I say done spending money on it and I have the title so selling it really is not an option b/c I own it and it costs me nothing to keep it. At least I have it for when I feel like getting back into it more again.

Other then that things have been going well at the new place, I like being so much closer to everything

Is there some warmth in that garage?
I was freezing in the barn for a while today but got half the rings filed and on the pistons. Eventually I'll take the other head off and do that side. I used a 1 burner propane stove to try and get some heat. I need more BTUs and maybe some plastic sheeting enclosing a smaller area to try and stay warm. Brrr!

It's minor....That was #8, broken between first and 2nd ring plus a crack between the 2nd and oil rings. Next I pulled #7 and it had cracks in the same places. The rest of them are ok.

I'm sure that this is not the way it's supposed to look. You're doing it wrong.

I know. Travis wants a 'pink sock'. Look that one up. It's gross and funny.

Congrats SSOM! Due to recent events (The Squeakening) the SSOM thread is now officially the longest running thread on SN.

Be sure to thank all of the little people that got you here.

While not as much a part of things recently, and sadly not even owning a Mustang for quite some time, I am far from little. 275 lbs of twisted steel and sex appeal here folks

Saw a video on YouTube of the 2017 Ford GT. Sweet. Can't imagine the price. Supposed to be a ecoboost v6 with 600 hp.

There's a pretty nice thread about it in the Squeaky Wheel. It's becoming a consolidation point for all of the articles, pics, and videos.

http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/threads/ford-gt-is-back.882170/

On another note: Remind me what SSOM is? I'm sure that I knew at one point but have forgotten. Along those lines... Do you guys want a private forum? It's easy to do and you could hire your own moderators and set your own rules (there's a minimum standard for SN private forums even).

Don't have to tell me right away. Talk it over with your folks and let me know if you'd like to try a trial implementation.

Also... tag me with any questions.
