Are the brakes really that bad to bleed? I've done multiple cars. Those were just time consuming. Didn't think a bike would be that bad since its such a short system and you can use gravity to help you.

I'll stick to snowmobiles...i do know 100mph on my sled feels way too fast lol

Its really not THAT hard I just don't feel like doing it lol. Rode up to Lisbon Falls today and came across a car that had rolled over. Police and fire trucks where there. I got it on the gopro it will be in my next video.

I did this one today.

100 on a bike feels quite fast but it feels like it always wants to be around 60-80 just for cruising around. I can easily do 70-75 in a 50 and not even realize it.

90 doesn't feel that fast until you have a sharp turn or have to stop.
Plus I feel more wind pushing my body back since I sit upright and no faring. That's when I really notice the speed and feel more fatigue.

Bunch of parts to put on, picked up some wheel tape, new levers, new tire hugger from the one that broke before and the new brake lines. Brake lines are the only thing I'm having the shop do. Did an oil change last night the oil in it did not look that old at all but I wanted to start out knowing when It was actually changed.

On my sled it gets hard to hold my head still when I get north of 80mph...with my ass 6 inches off the ground it feels damn fast...really really fast when I need t get on the brakes for the next turn...or a in tree

Looks good.
It's definitely tiring when the wind is knocking your head around at high speed. I agree that the speed seems even faster the closer you are to the ground.

Rode 171 miles yesterday up past Mt Washington. The bike is so much better then what my 06 was, has so much more mid range power and you can just throw it into corners. Could be going 75ish and hit 100 so quick with no effort at all. I was thinking of doing a sprocket swap for next year but I'm not sure it would even be necessary lol

Why mess with it? You might do something that you will regret later and you most likely won't get back the money you put into it, like other projects.

I never expect to get money back that I put into anything. I had it done on my last one but with the acceleration this one has I'm not sure I'll even do it.

Almost got the old girl ready for the road...just need to get my new tires mounted.

It's gonna be a long road to get my fr500s pretty again. Currently polishing the headlights that the FL sun put the hurt on

Traffic sucked yesterday! Mine sat for 3 years before I pulled the plug and sold it. I was just done w/ it. Plus I got an offer that I was never going to see again if I declined and was not sure on selling it. In the end it worked out much better having it gone.
