Well as dan stated earlier we went ot epping last night. the track was horrible!!!
my best time was [email protected]. with a 3.01 60foot time yep you heard it here first. i had the lift almost everytime due to wheel hop one i hit second. the wheel hop in first wasn't bad at until the upper rpms. The was a 03 cobra that was identical to freds, i mean i spitting image ask dan. he was starting out in 2nd and wal having bad traction issues.
when the only cars running 13s are AWD cars and one GN with M/T et streets traction may be an issue. even the c5 vettes were running high 14s

Holy crap Mike, sounds like Mustangs on ice to me. I guess it's the normal track prep situation that people have come to expect from NED.

Well me and Fred took my car to Wiscasset today to get the coolant and tranny flushed. They wanted the SVT techs to work on it cause of the blower. I guess that officially makes me "SVT Worthy"!!!!!!!

Flag Pond Rd is just 2 miles from me. Real easy to get to. It must be at someones house because I haven't seen any signs on that road for a dyno. Get me a address and I will try to check it out. A guy that I went to high school with had a house over there and he used to build engines and his advertisement said dyno tuning. He is no longer there because he is the one I told you was a engine tuner for a NASCAR team now. Might be his old place though.Striped5.0 said:

Chris got the best time of 12.7 on a track rental b/c they actually prep the track for you unlike the weds and fri street nights. 3.01 is horrible, I thought I did bad w/ my 2.4 and 2.6 60' times when I went w/ Mike last summer. Im going to save my $20 for admission and the cost of gas down and back and put that towards my $100 share for the track rental.
You also have to remember that it is cold at night right now. during the day at least the sun will be heating up the track and that could give some better times. Night time right now is just too damn cold. Daytime rental would be better but I'm no where near ready to do anything like that.

actually one of the neon underglow lights was cracked and I had to send that back but it was way back in March so Im all set yo.
I have to call...ummmm...some place on Monday and get the tracking # for ummmm..."that thing" I ordered. Should be all set to be shipped by Monday and will get here late next week or early the week after, that still gives me pleanty of time to get ummm....."it" installed. Im not really under the gun for getting mine done. I also have the whole week before BE off for vacation. If I dont go anywhere I'll spend most of it at Chris's place getting everything all finished up.

1. Wissler tip for the mufflers, you know wissler goes WHOOO WHOOO
2. Underglow lights.
3. Spinners for the rims, upgraded to 20" Rims
4. Light bar across the the front grill opening so it looks like KITT from Knight Rider....of corse I had to take off the running horse embelem to get it to fit.
