I dropped my car off at Pro Body in wiscassett today...the insurance adjuster says 8k for repairs i think he is full of ****....i got under the car...drivers side frame rail is bent...some suspention stuff is bent and the engine is pushed about 2 inches rear and towards the passenger side the head cover is pushed up against my MAF. I don't know what the **** to do anymore....the other guy is claiming pain and suffering, and i was found to be 100% at fault...it was funny how the cop telling me he was going over 55 in 45 judging by the skid marks didn't make it into the police report. I have decided if the cobra is fixable to either get it fixed and sell it or sell it to wiscassett as is.

You're 100% at fault? Did you get that cops badge #? It should be in the original report.
Pray he doesn't sue you if he's got a 100% fault judgement against you, in fact get a good lawyer NOW! RIGHT NOW!!!
And push for it to be totalled. Get an independent appraiser. The ins. co. is already worried about the P&S claim, so is going to try and save some $ by reducing what it pays YOU.
A salvage title is only when you have the ins. co. total it and reduces it's worth. It will then reimburse you for the whole car.

Im in the same boat, tons and tons of cleaning to do. Thats going to start tomorrow. Its just so fun driving it now though, only bad part is that Im going to need a new clutch, the stock one dosent like all the new power very much :D , once I get obove 4K it slips bad. Oh well just gives me an excuse to buy a Spec II clutch.

OK, maine mall at 7am. And my car is supposed to be ready tomoorow. :banana:
But i still don't have the new rims/tires yet. And i still have spots where the paints peeling, and the side skirts don't match. I feel kinda bad, not doing a good job of representing. :( And i'll probably have to leave a little early, but thats okay cause it's not like i'm gonna win anything anyway.
