You mean thats not normal?

Thanks for helping me out today guys. Much appreciated. Rear end feels much bettter.

Any member who wants can come out here for lobster feed/ BBQ on July 31st. The ferries leave Rockland at various times. 7, 8:45, 11:15, 1, 2:45, and 4:30. They leave here at same times. So, you'd probably want to come over on either the 8:45 and get here @10, or the 11:15 and get here @ 12:30 then go back on the 4:30. Parking is $7, if there's room in the lot. Otherwise you can park on the streets of rockland for free. Plan on showing up early to get parked and to get your tickets for the ferry (expensive, @ $15 for a round trip). Maybe, just maybe, I can pick you guys up in my boat. We'll see. Plan on getting harassed by some of us natives too. People, especially young men, often are hostile towards summer jerks (people from away that come out here only in the summer). But don't worry about it, just kinda remember that it's our island. And that it's mostly something we do for fun.

Also, the following day is mustangs vs. camaros at winterport, which Fred and I are planning to attend.

I finally got my battery box done. I had to get some welding cable yesterday so I could run a ground all the way to the engine. I will say that welding cable is the way to go. The cable has lots and lots of small diameter wire in it and that allows it to be more flexable than standard battery cables. That 1 gauge wire should keep the power flowing.
My coil is on its way to MSD. It is supposed to be covered by warranty so hopefully I will have a new one in a few weeks. For now the stock coil is hooked up.
My car has been sitting on jack stands for well over a week while I have been trying to get this stuff done. Last week I decided to bleed my brakes and flush out the old nasty crap that was in the system.
I also finished my hood locks today. Damn I have been busy with the stang the last couple of weekends and I haven't even driven it any where.
I really haven't had any time to go on line and do any post whoring

Whos up for another dyno trip

just got off the phone w/ chris and he said he'll be ready for another trip to the dyno by the end of the month, either the 30th or the 31st. I'll be ready to go back by then b/c were doing my 3.55 gears on weds and Im ordering my power pipe this week. I wont have the exhaust done but that can wait. I have that weekend off so Im going anyway. I Need more dyno time and I need it tuned w/ the FMU off. Theres alot more untapped power that I have it just needs some more tweeking.

I hope to put down alot more this time then I did before. Then again dynoing up to 4,200 RPM's isent much of a help since my blower makes ALOT of power between 4,000-6,000 RPM's. The clutch is broken in now and the Adjustible clutch quadrent is on its way.

Fine, go to the dyno on the 31st.

J/K but no new mods for me yet.

Got my new property tax assessment today. 67 k more than what I paid for it 2 yr.s ago.

I'd sell in heartbeat if I could get what it's now assessed at. Pocket 17 K and use the other 50 to buy a site and build new.

no. they gave me a ground wire that was less than 2 feet long. I had to attach that to one of the bolts that go through the floor to make it work. I just felt it was better insurance to run a cable straight to the motor like originally intened by Ford. I want to make sure I don't have any electrical gremlins like many others have run into after relocating the battery. I also ran a 4 gauge wire from the battery post to the bolt holding the box to the floor. THen I took some more 4 gauge and attached it to the same bolt that sticks up through the lid and ran the other end of that wire over to my shock mount. Its good to be well grounded.
I want to make sure that I have plenty of contact and low resistance. A little over engineering doesn't hurt.
That 1 gauge is gonna make sure that there is plenty of current flow.
