I guess that 2.1 is not to bad for street tires. How packed was it, did you guys get in as many runs as you wanted? Im sure the track just got worse as the night went on though. Thats what happned when I went w/ Mike last summer.

I know I could have cut those 60' times down if I ran a couple more times. I only ran 4 times. I could have ran more and I blew a couple runs because we were sharing helmets and it didnt get back in time. But I didnt want to chance breaking anything. I think Mike actually got in 6 runs and then quit.

Yeah, Fred and I traded salty, sweaty helmet juices all night long. Mmmmmm.....goood I got 5 runs in myself, but I imagine I could have got 7 or more if we would have got there right off and raced all nigh without a break. Looking at my slips, my second *could* have been my best, but I slowed down because I did not have a helmet. I had a 2.1 60ft. time on that run, which was my best of the night.

Good weather for boost! I laid down some patches here and there. Took a friend for a ride in my car. He liked the power. Sets you back in the seat a little.
Used a rug cleaning machine to wash the interior of the car. Nice to get out some of the deep down crud.

Yeah its vacation time. This vacation instead of doing a bunch of work to the house I decided to do some stuff to the stang. It was real nice shampooing the upholstery. Tomorrow I might try to get my 2 step RPM limiter working, its part of my Digital 6 ignition. Easy hook up. One of these days I need to make the engine bay look neater.
