I am, its 10 mins from my house. Get to clean the car really good once w/ out driving way off to get to a show. Seems like by the time the yr is up we all have a show pretty close to each of us...well except for larry.

Lets hope for a nice sunny weekend, Im praying that the remains of Frances will have gone by before sat/sun.

Seem like a good Deal for a Vortech Tuner Kit?

I found this one just browsing ebay for a vortech tuner kit. Let me know what you guys think.

Kinda debating to get the tuner kit or the complete kit myself. You need to get a MAF, 42 lb. injectors, fuel pump, some kind of tune (i.e. a chip and dyno tune), and a power pipe if you get the tuner kit. In the end it'll cost you more. But in the complete kit, the vortech tune sucks, the fuel pump isn't very good either, and you're still gonna need a dyno tune.
Anyone one else want to help us out? Anything I forgot?

Yes, I'm getting serious about it now. In fact, if I can get a commitment to help me install on the 25th-26th and some guidance on above issues, then I'll order mine up and sign up for the SCT dyno day down in CT.

The mid coast has other attractions.

Windham show. Kinda doubt it. School has started for the boy and so I don't get him on time Friday night to get him home until saturday, and then we'd hafta turn around and spend another night in a hotel saturday or not come home at all...

Oh, almost forgot. Minor problem. I noticed today when I went to adjust the drivers side tail pipe that it was rubbing on my sway bar. Gonna need some help with that to. It sucks having a dirt driveway and no garage.

Been there and done that many times. Sucks big time. Laying on a piece of plywood for hours while changing your connecting rod and main bearings on a pickup sucks. My back hurt for days.
It really sucks when it gets cold. You have a hard time just gripping a wrench because your hands are frozen and don't want to cooperate.

To bad the Windam show is on the same day as the Weirs Beach cruise.

Thanks, I know you're busy. Thats cool, and what I expected. But I've got too many commitments just to get it and sit on it for a few months. As you all know, I was raised by the A-Team, that's right "I pity the foo" and I love it when a plan comes together. Anyway, the spots are running out for the tuners down there and the only thing I can think of worse than getting it and sitting on it is... installing it, but not driving it cuz it's not tuned. Especially w/ all this cool weather coming.

Yeah, but I'm on a different schedule. Spring is the second busiest time of the year (gotta get those traps out, broke), summer (gotta haul them alot, not quite poor anymore), fall and plenty of cool days (time to play with a few dollars),winter (is it spring yet?).

If I were you dont buy a kit off Ebay, its much better to be able to call up the place you bought it from if you have questions or anything like that

3 More days until the kick off of the NFL Season Cant wait to get out of work and watch the Patroits on thurs night.

Which reminds me that this sunday is the first full day of football, kinda got me re thinking about the windham car show. If theres even a hint of it raining b/c of the left over hurricane on sunday then count me out. Im not missing the first day of football for a wash out car show.

Oh i have an 01 GT. I think that person was just posting an ad on ebay. But i think im going to go with modular powerhouse, they have a kit for $2800 that comes with #42 injectors and a 255 fuel pump. I think you just need a MAF and maybe a chip or programer. Not sure about a powerpipe either. I just dont want to go through vortech and get the full kit because it is expensive and the parts you get at junk, so its better i think to piece it together.
