mix it w/ vodka

I was going to stay w/ a spec II but figured that if I put in a 331 down the road w/ AL heads and w/ that blower its going to be way to much power for a SPEC II so I might as well just upgrade to a III since we have to swap it out now anyway. They guys at spec even said that my TQ rating on the dyno was at the limit of the II anyway and that was w/ it only going to 4K

Thats bulls**t travis i am making 405RWHP and 386RWTQ and my stock clutch is holding up fine. For how long though i don't know

I honestly think the stage II is good for well over 400/400 but i would still get the III just because.

I kinda like overkill

Im just going by what the guys at spec said. They said if I was putting down 353 FT LBS then that was at the limit of the II b/c there ratings that they give for there clutchs are at the flywheel not the rear wheels. I figure by the time I can actually get the car to redline on the dyno, have a diffrent exhaust setup and a better Mass Air Meter that II will pretty much be maxed out

not when theres WD-40 sprayed on it

The stock one slipped at 4,000 as well but it was just way to much TQ for it to handel, just luck of the draw that the spec ended up slipping at the same point.

I know Bryan, thats what really pisses me off more then anything. Your putting out sick amounts of TQ and yours is still holding up fine, holding up more then Chris's CenterForce Dual Friction was and more then my SPEC II Did w/ a little bit of WD-40 on it that I figured would have just burnt off after time. According to SPEC they said that if anything gets on the pucks of the disk then it just soakes it right up, anything being oil, greese, solvents b/c the pucks are made of kevlar and apparently get contaminated easy.

heres some disturction mine has sufferd from. Not the first time mines has a new bumper put on it This was from like ummm....... almost 4 yrs ago now.

Yeah deff post some pics of the damage, this damage here on mine came to $4,500, had some on the back end as well that you cant see in the pic, but the heater core was busted and radiator support was bent down by the fog light along w/ various other things out of place or bent. Dosent take to much damage to rack up $2,000 so throw some pics up.
