Hey KB can own me all it wants, I just know Id never want to try and put one one. For being known as one of the easyest installs of all blowers seems to be like a major PITA

You guys are blowing things WAY out of proportion!! Look how long Larry's Vortech install took, and that was with people that know what they are doing. Do you think an HP twin turbo for a modular engine would "bolt right up"? I said it before, and I will say it again....., if Dan had been there from start to finish, the KB would have been a breeze.

Are you serious?? First off a turbo kit is alot different than a SC kit. Second, you car already came with a blower. So in reality, it was like an intake swap. You can't compare the two(KB vs Vortech). All mighty DAN!! I should hope it would have been a breeze with him there. He's done enough of them. Kinda like wiping your ass. Once you do it a couple of times, it's a piece of cake!! :D

12.7?? I ran that at 107mph..

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I wonder what my car could have done if it weighed a hair over 3k lbs

Bob Cosby was clicking off low 11s at 118+ with his 99 Cobra and it was only making 318RWHP and 320ish RWTQ, It had 4.56 gears and a solid rear and weighed in at 3k i believe or alittle under

a twin turbo on a Mod motor would involve alot more like replacing the K member with a tubular one. That alone is a butt load of work. Then I'm sure there has got to be plenty of other crap that would have to be trimmed or fitted to make it work. Its bad enough replacing the headers on those cars, right?
