meh, I think the older 16v sirocco's are pretty cool. Don't see many of them around.

Dont you need a new set? How long did they last for you, 5,000 miles

I have a new set on the way, and they have about 12,000 miles on them, including a 1/4 mile that went by in under 12 seconds

VWs are OK for the first couple of years but after that they go to crap. Really rot away and parts start breaking and falling off.

well 12,000 not bad considering you burned off about 40% of the tread out on chris's road. Where do you buy yours? I got mine from Discount tire direct, tire rack dosent even carry them , mine came to $310 sure yours are more since you have wider rims.

Yes, I get mine at Discount Tire also. I think I paid about $380 including shipping.
