Hey mike seems like someone said something like that before MR.. The oil rigs will be fine and nothing will happen to them.

Look cumguzzler....i said they should be fine....only 3 sustained any real damage, not bad considering how many there are and how powerful katrina was

the reason for them being shutdown is because they were evacuated

now go watch Biker Boyz

Im having withdrawls from not riding the bike, its been since last saturday. Havnt missed the car once, actually dont even really think of it much now knowing I'll be $3,000 - $4,000 richer next spring.

Chris do me a favor.

Go find your little shoe box full of recipts and add up the cost of H/C/I, your Turbo and your Tweecer and thats just whats under the hood and I bet you come out to more then what my bike costs. Just think all that money into the car and your now just trapping what my bike does off the show room floor. :D

how is that? Its more true then anything. I didnt start this I just think its funny. You all have fast Mustangs just as I have a fast bike but does not mean I have to prove it and push it to its limits and go to its full 164 MPH top speed to prove anything

Here is more good news. Gas at Cumberland farms is Sanford hit $2.80 regular and $3.20 super. Cumberland farms in Saco was more that $2.80. I filled up at Irving for $2.59.

2.72 for Reg and 2.92 for super. I havent seen that 3.00 mark yet. Im sure its here I just havent seen it. I'll prolly have a heart attack if/when I do see it. :notnice:

huh, well thats nice mine does it on a 4 cly w/ 103 HP at the wheel. And yours has how much power and how many clylinders?

Your comparing apples to oranges, I did not get the bike to get into a pissing contest w/ who was faster. Besides if the only puprose was to ass rape you I would have bought a 1000 and not a 600

You keep comparing apples and oranges, Travis. Fuel economy, 1/4 mile times, price, and all the other $hit you have been slinging is getting really old, really fast. This is starting to sound like the whole Madden/Patriots thing all over again. I will all gladly sink thousand of dollars more into my car before next spring, and not bat an eye. I'll put f'n $80 to fill up my gas tank if I have to, and I won't care. To me it is worth every penny. I will have a 10 second car with my next pulley change, and that has not been ceap, but again, worth every penney to me. You talk about how much money that you are saving, but if that is really the issue, you made tha wrong choice. What you should have done is bought a house, instead of continuing to pay rent. You might as well wipe your butt with the money and flush it, because you are building no equity. OK fine, you have a bike, I can respect your decision. Before you start comparing your bike to ANY car, remeber that you are comparing two different animals, so STFU.

Another ricer statement. Go away Troll. Sorry Travis, but I do not respect bikes.

Lets take that lil 4 cylinder and put it in my 3600lb. car to see what it can do.

take that 3,600 LB car and 550 RWHP and have fun at the gas pump.

Your not gaining any ground. Stock VS Stock you cant compare bikes VS cars. Im not trying to prove Im faster or not Im just saying that w/ out thousands of dollars dumped into a car you cant stand a chance agnest a sportbike and thats just the 600 class.

Like I said, I do not respect bikes, because I don't compete with them. BTW, is that all we are going to hear is how cheap it is to fill up your 5(or whatever)gallon tank? Troll.

Oh well truth hurts. I can fill up and still drive around all day, have a ton of fun and fill back up again and not feel a dent in my wallet. Its nice to fill up and spend less then $10 w/ the freedom to use any grade of gas I want.

Realisticly your looking at close to $50 to fill up on 93 octane w/ a 15 gallon tank ( not sure how big yours are but mine was 15) So if you go for a day long cruise or to the track your looking at alot of money if you have to fill up more then once round trip and thats not counting any other expense for why you went out in the first place.

Gas was never a reason for why I sold the car but looking at that $3.05 price for 93 it makes me feel that much better.

I didnt start this $hit dick wad, you guys have been all over my ass since I got the bike and I feel like Im on the defense so if you dont want me to bring up any points about it just STFU

I never came on here blabbing about how my bike was better or faster or anything. I was just looking for some respect or support of my decison which should be based on friendship and not just b/c I dont have a stang. But I have gotten none of that and nothing but a bunch of $hit from everyone ( except fred )

how is it a ricer statment when its all true?

Face it mike you might have one hell of a fast Mustang but if you put it up against a Yamaha R1, GSXR 1000, Kawasaki ZX-10 or a Honda CBR 900 RR you would get ass raped.

When you start comparing the speed and fuel economy of and an f'n bike to a car, that is a RICER STATEMENT!!!! If I was that worried about gas mileage, I would have bought a Toyota Hybrid. Like I said, I don't really care how much I pay at the pump. I guess only YOU care how much I pay, because YOU are the one constantly bringing it up.
