You will see other dyno places such as F1 dyno but their dyno sucks big time. It reads really high HP and TQ #'s. So in other words there are a bunch of ricers running around the portland area thinking they pulled something impressive on the dyno

I have never heard of NEAD. I have heard of F1 Dyno though, because it was recommended to me by some kids at school. But then when they told me they were putting down close to 400 at the wheels on pretty much stock(minor bolt-on) Evo's, I knew something wasn't right.

There are also a couple of places here in Bangor that have dynos as well. Diesel fuel systems has a Mustang Dyno, and Performance Auto & Diesel is installing a dyno anytime now. I was in contact with them a while back, but I don't know what kind of dyno they are installing, and I don't really want to be their test dummy. I don't think that they would know much about tuning mustangs.

Ive seen first hand how off their Dyno is at F1. At their dyno I put down 370 RWHP and 425 TQ. A few wks later I went to dyno performance in Concord N.H who had a dyno jet. I went there to get a chip burnt. When we got the baseline I put down 335RWHP and 370 RWTQ. The #'s at F1 were way way high on my TQ and HP. Even after my chip was burnt my #'s still did not come close to anything that I saw at F1

Yeah I know, looks like quite a mess just to take the heat shield off the exhaust and fix the vibration I have under the gas tank cover.

a bunch of YOU guys loved that place at first. Glad I never put my car on their dyno.

Remember it was the greatest place to go with all the best high tech equipment? It was so much better than a Mustang or Dynojet dyno.

For me it would have been a waste of money just to find out I had the same or a little more HP. Glad I didn't drop any $ there.

I've been busy the last 10 or so days. My mom had another episode and was in the hospital for five days. Really scary cause she couldn't talk, just jabbering. Anyway, the doctors think they have it figured out this time. Some kind of blockage on the left side of her brain affecting speech and memory. She's doing better now. We've moved her to my sister's in CT where someone in the family can be around her 24/7. Hopefully the meds work and clear up the blockage.

And I've been thinking about moving to the mainland. There's really nobody I'm close to out here anymore. If only I could find work that let me take off the time I need for Preston and paid me close to what I make now.

My mother in law is in a nursing home right now. She has been in and out of the hospital so many times over the past 5 or 6 years its ridiculous. She has breathing problems and gets sick. As time goes by she has been in more frequently and for longer periods of time. The last 2 or 3 times she went into a nursing home afterwards to help her recover before returning home. Almost 2 years ago the doctor told us that she wouldn't live past that year but she is still here. Tough lady. SHe lives to go gambling.
Hope your mother gets better.

Thanks, I'm sure(crosses fingers) she still has a few years left. She's deeply RC (roman catholic) so she plays the martyr a bit. I've taken her on a few time runs down RT 1, and she just tells me I drive fast.

Doctors aren't always right. Thats why they have malpractice insurance.
My mother in law has lasted a lot longer than they expected and she is still doing ok. She just gets sick easy plus like I said she has breathing problems. She has had to have a oxygen tank at her side for a few years now. Her lungs have a lot of damage. Smoking and being a waitress around smokers for years plus her husband smokes really hasn't helped. She also worked in shoe manufacturing for a while and was exposed to plenty of VOCs.
