I just bought a Magnaflow exhaust for the 01 Cobra for $379.00 shipped!! Brand new from completeexhaust. Good thing too because the price is going up $40 on 12/1

Ive noticed alot of things going up recently. That Cervinis bumper I got for mine was $399, its now up to $450 along w/ a price increase on alot of the other cervinis products.

gee you don't think it would have anything to do with the price of petroleum. Transportation costs are up along with everything that is made from petroleum such as plastic. When gas prices first started to go sky high I knew it was a matter of time before everthing else started going up. That is why I decided to buy some stuff now.
Its going to be a crappy christmas for a lot of people out there.

Friday I should have a new welder sitting in the garage.
The other stuff has already been shipped directly from Maximum Motorsports. That will take a while since they are in Cali.

how can you say that when gas is now almost under $2.00 a gallon. The old excuse of "gas prices" is getting old. That lasted for about 3 wks and then everything settled down and went back to the norm.

So now that gas prices have come down we can expect to see the price of cervinis products come down as well? Regardless of if gas is $5.00 a gallon or $1.50 I doubt those prices will ever come down.

You hit that right on the head. Petroleum affects more than just transportation costs in my line of work, but also the cost of goods when it comes to plastic bottles. That increase is always passed on to the retailer, and then the end consumer. Sorry Fred, but no .99 Mt Dew Big Slams

Still waiting for the electrician to come and get power to my garage. We have a load of gravel coming in soon so the angle into the garage will not be as steep, not to mention to firm the ground up, as we only have sand around the garage at the moment. Katie and I are going to look at some automatic garage door openers today too.

Went to the dyno yesterday to have a guys Mach dyno'd and tuned and there was a twin turbo'd 03 there stroked to a 302....cant wait to see that on the dyno

its always a delayed effect. It doesn't happen overnight. The cost of doing business took a big jump and in a short amount of time it gets passed on to the consumer. Remember gas was less than $2 this time last year. We crossed two price barriers, the $2 then the $3 in one years time.
Higher shipping costs, heating, electricity, plastics, AC, ....ect. Start thinking outside the box and you will be a less short sighted. The world runs on petroleum.
It effects all of us directly and INDIRECTLY!
