What are you worried about then? Your bottom end can probably safely support at least 450hp I would assume. I bet you could get a Procharger for your car pretty cheap, compared to a newer 'stang anyways. Stay away from detonation, and your bottom end will be fine.

Yeah, and we all know where to get a proper tune in rural maine. Driving 200 miles while detonating after the install would be GOOD. And I like the reassuring "probably".

Stay out of boost, stay away from detonation. Most cent. blowers dont really kick in the boost until the upper rpm's when the pedal is mashed. I said "probably" because I am not 100% sure about the potential of the '96 Cobra, although I dare say it can be a very stout machine.

When I install my 2.8 blower pulley and Predator, I plan on staying out of boost until I can get some A/F #'s at a dyno to make sure it's nice and safe.

Yeah, you're right. If anyone touched my boy like some of those sicko's, i.e. 3yr. old in oven, he/she'd(politically correct) be many leagues under the sea. One piece at a time. Starting with the extremities, don't want to bleed too fast.
