Ya, my plan is to tape it. I have to see if I can. My VCR only gos to channel 125 and the PPV is on 301. You have to use the TV/VCR button to record anything, or so I think. I'am going to do some dry runs today, to see if it will work.

Did some tool shopping today. Went out to buy a grinder and also came home with a recipricating saw.
The recipricating saw was more of a impulse buy. I picked it up at the Sears store behind the mall that has reconditioned tools. It was $70 with two extra batteries and a 1 hour charger. It is a 19.2 volt and it kicks ass. Looks brand new and has a 1 year warranty. I wished that I had it when I was replacing the 2x6s in the garage a few months ago.
The grinder I will test more tomorrow when I grind some steel to start welding.
Buying tools rocks.

Having a garage is great. We have a 2 car garage but i wish it was bigger. I really wish it was wider because there is not a lot of room between the car and the wall.cold96snake said:I have many power tools. Mostly makita, others are job specific. None make-up for a garage.
If I was to build a garage it would have to be a lot wider possibly to handle 3 cars. It would also have to be longer because there also isn't a lot of extra space between the car the garage door. I am glad that I have cabinets in the garage for all sorts of storage and a little counter space( I have to clear off a bunch of crap to use it though).
When we move I will be taking the cabinets. I found them and I'm keeping them and they look great.
If I had the money it would also have a taller ceiling so I could put in a lift.
I need deeper pockets though.
I also like name brand tools. Tools that come with a reputation and warranty. Craftsman, Makita, Dewalt, ect.

Did a little welding on some scrap. Really need to work on my skills. A few times the wire got all screwed up inside the machine. First few times I thought it was my fault then I saw what was happening. The wire wasn't coming off the spool smoothly and was getting kinked because of it. I just shut it off and will figure it out later. Something on the spool might be occasionally snagging the wire.
It will be a little while before I attempt to put on my subs. I will say that crap gets hot real quick. Molten metal looks cool.
