Working on it, talking w/ a guy tonight if all goes well could have one as soon as this weekend

Larry, how much did you pay for your TKO 600, and where did you get it?
A LOT and from D&D performance. 1700 for the tranny, 350 for the bellhousing (non-sfi) etc. etc.

But, it is awesome, shifts real easy at 3k and 7k. Downshifts from 3k to 5k nice too. :D

Thanks Larry, something I'll have to look into futher down the road.

Does anyone know the laws/procedure as far as buying an out of state car and driving it back to your state as far as the plates and registration goes? If I get this car Im going to go down to N.J w/ a friend on Friday and drive the car back up on Saturday but what do I do as far as attaching the plates since it wont be registered in my name once I get it back here? I could just throw on my old "GOT PWR" plate but if I got cought that would not be good.

LETS JUST SAY THAT IS ILLEGAL. You would have to register and insure it to stay legal.
Just saw a real nice clean looking Calypso Green LX for sale in Sanford. Not sure how much. Drove by it the last couple of days without stopping. Real nice looking with gray interior and silver pony rims.

Good god that red interior is burning my eyes. Ive seen alot of Calypso green stangs in my recent search and Id like to pick up something that I would not have to repaint. One Im looking at now is a nice dark blue w/ gray interior.

how old is that paxton supercharger anyway :D

So Im pretty much F'ing screwed as far as leagally driving the car up here w/ out it yet being in my name? I figured there was some way to get a temp plate just for the day or something like that.

why not just rent a front wheel dolly from uhaul and tow it back? your ranger would work ok for that.

**EDIT** or you could just have your buddy drive really close behind you all the way.. :D

You might be able to get a temp tag to transport it. You may have to pay sales tax to the state of Maine. I know you would if you bought it from an out of state dealer but Im not sure about a private sale.

I think if the wheels are touching the ground it has to be registerd, thats what I heard anyway.

Chris- I knew I wanted another 5.0 and knew if I got another 94/95 you woudnt touch it so my only option was to get a fox :D There is another really nice out out in IN that I would like to get that is only $500 more and has alot more done to it but the only kicker is getting it out here and the cost to do it.

Being online at work is fun, to bad I dont have comp access all day, just releaving someone who does.

How old's the registration stickers on the plates? If they're still good, I'd do it. No big deal, just a fine if you get caught.
