dyno in maine

Hey im up in bangor theres a plae that has a dyno but all they deal is with diesel trucks and they told me they could put it on the dyno but only give me air fuel readings and hp figures so i kinda wanted to go with a place that could actully help me dyno tune it. Iv tried to get ahold of a dyno in portland the guy has a tiwn turbo dodge viper but dosnt return my calls or emails so i dont know about that.

I should just buy one if they didnt cost so much:D

That's F1 Dyno. Don't bother going there. Unless you have a subaru.... You'll need to go to Performance Dyno to get a really good tune..

try www.dennysautobody.com he deals with mustangs all the time, he helped me and some of my buddies.
great guy to deal with.:nice:
he's located in southern maine.

Worden, I ran an 8.3xx at 89 w/ a 2.01x 60 ft. time. Last year, I ran 8.7 at 84 at the 1/8th mark when getting a 13.2 @ 110 in epping, so i guess the new tranny and clutched helped. Also, it was a lot cooler and drier that day in epping.

Trav, nice to see you w/ a stang again.

probelm with that is nh is like 4 -5 hrs away so if i need a tune i couldnt drive i would have to have it towed and that would get pretty damn costly so i doubt i could do that :bang:

whats done to the car thats going to require a tune?

Mike-

I'll think about it, I'll get back to you. Have to see how the stang is running as well. I got the starter prob fixed, he thought something was wrong w/ the solonoid but I hooked the starter cable back up to it and it starts fine, not sure what he thought the issue was  . It driped a few drops of oil after running about 10 mins, not sure if its a leak or oil running off the pan/motor after it gets warmed up.

I've heard good things about him from some guy in CT I was talking to.
I deliver to him. He is a heck of a nice guy. He does have a dyno that can put a load on the engine.
Yes I do plan on going to NED this Saturday. The weather is supposed to be 73 to 78 degrees and will be drier air. Its going to be a great day to run without sweating your balls off or overheating your car. I do want to get there early. My helmet shoud be here tomorrow.

It could also be from the back corner of the valve covers. Mine does that. Clean the motor so it will it make it easier to see where oil is coming from.

Yeah I'll have to do that as well.

Bryan/Chris- do you happen to have any blinker housings for the passanger side?? Mine came off the car somewhere back in jersy so now its just the bulb and wire hanging there w/ no side marker to put it in.
