this is what I did over the weekend.
<a href="http://s137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/gaslight_photo/?action=view&current=IMAG0103-2.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/gaslight_photo/IMAG0103-2.jpg" border="0" alt="hood"></a>

Hope this sends some airflow over by the turbo to cut down on the heat a bit.

I have to notch it to clear the front corner of my intake. Its either that or I get new shorter valve covers so I can lower the intake. That just means more money that I don't want to spend right now.

But here's the thing, even AFTER she noticed it wasn't signed, and I offered to show my ID, she didn't want to see it. So, it was four people who let me use it, three of which never even bothered to look.

where do you guys go for your tuning/dynoing? ive heard nothing but great things about pete johnson at performance dyno in concord nh. heard he is a genius with mustangs. also found out there is a dyno in shapleigh (i think it is) maine. if i recall correctly, their dyno is able to put a load on to simulate real world driving for better tuning? i really need my truck to sell so i can get back into a mustang. im having withdrawals, nice warm weather only makes it worse. the sight of snow helps alittle.

Bryan that looks pretty cool, hopfully it does help to cool that turbo down.

Back to what we were talking about before with retards who pay more for used parts on Ebay VS what you would brand new.

Been looking for some #36lb injectors on ebay and have come across a lot of #42's. One of the auctions has 1 day left and the price of the injectors are at $285 with $15.00. If the price does not move at all thats $300 for used #42's that you can buy brand new off Buy Ford racing.com for $319. Some people are such idiots. They have 18 bids on them

That is Denny's Autobody. I posted a link recently when you were asking about a fox body. He is in Shapleigh just over the town line of Springvale(Sanford).

Nice stuff Travis. I see you are going Black instead of polished or chrome. The timing chain is a good idea since you will already be taking the old one off to get at the cam. My car had erratic timing before I did my heads, cam and intake a few years ago. It was weird watching the timing fluctuate when trying to set the timing. It was like that with less than 50k miles.

The chrome/Bling look is way to over done as far as Im concerned. When you go to FFW what do you see? Chrome chrome and more chrome, yeah all set with that. Its not a show car either way but I wanted a different look. I'll have a C&L Aluminum trueflow tube connecting to the TB and the Intake, I think it will be a petty sweet look.

a added benefit to not doing the chrome thing is the engine will be able to shed a little more heat. Those shiny surfaces look great but have a hard time dissipating heat. Less time cleaning the crap is even better. I still love chrome rims over painted ones.
I need to finish the tail lenses today. Got to get off my butt. Not that I haven't done anything today. Raked some of the lawn, got a hair cut, and other crap.

Yeah less heat is always a good thing. I cant belive the stock parts Ive been unloading off on Ebay and having them sell. Ive gotten rid of my stock 5.0 upper/lower intake, my stock CBR exhaust, Stock 28 spline axles and the differential. I have the buy it now set at below $50 but Id rather get that kind of money then just have it sit around and take up space. Its stuff I'll never use again.

I still have that stuff. How much did you get for the stuff? $50 each? I have a couple of differentials I should sell.

between $35-$45 depending on the part + shipping. Guy that got the intake said he bought it by accident so I have to refund his money once It clears and goes into my pay pal.

he did the buy it now for $35+25 for shipping. Told him I was only going to refund him the $57 (pay pal fees) and not the full $60 b/c I was not going to lose a few bucks out of my pocket b/c of his screw up

so what was the mistake? With the BUy It Now option do you only have to click once instead of click once then get prompted with the message asking if you want to bid that amount...so on and so forth?

found another auction for a fender roller that has been bid up to $205 and there are 3 more hours to go. $20 more gets you a brand new one .
At least I know if I buy one and sell it at this time of the year I will recoup most of my money which makes it cheaper than renting one from one of the online sites. There happens to be one of them(rental place) on Ebay.

who knows but hes a idiot anyway. Im going to give it few days and see if he asks for it back again lol. I have no problem giving his money back I really dont have a choice since Im not sending him anything and I relisted the Item.

I saw the same valve covers I just bought off Summit all over Ebay everywhere from $105 to $120 + shipping. People are such idiots you can get them for $99.00 of from summit.

the world is full of idiots. All you have to do is a simple search in most instances. I'm surprised the morons don't use the search button more effectively on EBAY. That is how I found the tool I'm looking for and I found it in more than one place. They would see that is would be in some cases cheaper on only slightly more money for a new item.

Put my new lenses on and wired up the parking and brake lights on one side. I have to get some new connectors for the other side because the ones included sucked and I only had enough in my toolbox to do the one side.
Hope this works. I hit the brakes more than once but you only see it one time. Will have to check in to that and make sure they are working properly. Took this with my little cheap camera I used for the other photos I posted. It has a video mode but not great quality.
