As far as your liberal comment, its fine in some areas but just b/c you oppose it in politics does not mean its bad in every scenario. The term liberal as far as politics is a bad term. You never hear a democrat coming out and announcing to the public that they are a liberal. They try to hide it and mask it as best they can.
Obama wants to tax the rich more and give more out to the poor in a sense hes playing robin hood. Taxing the rich right now is a bad idea at this state of the economy. Experts on the economy have come out and said that taxing ANYONE of ANY CLASS at this state of the economy is a bad idea. You cant tax any class at this point it will do more harm then good. If you want to improve the economy you have to have a tax cut across the board for everyone not just the middle/lower class. That will stimulate the economy even more.
Why do you think so many business in the United States are leaving or having jobs outsourced to other countries? Business is what drives the US Economy and Obamataxastan want to tax them even further driving more business out of the United States. Chris is the only one here that is involved in business and he has acknowledge that Obama's tax plan would hurt his business more. Would anyone here consider Portland Tint "Big Business" Hardly...How many other business out there like Portland Tint that are going to be playing more under Obama? How does that promote growth?
What makes more sense to you to improve the economy as far are bringing more business to the United States...Taxing them more or Taxing them less?
found out tonight that the gas station nearest me which is about a 1/2 mile from the house carries 93 Octane. I was shocked to see it. Its just a small convenient store. Does not do me any good now but its nice to know it will be there to use next summer
Well Bryan you got what you wanted. Now we have to wait and see if he actually falls through on any of his campaign promises. I'd like to know how many actually voted for him b/c they stood behind what he believed in and what he was saying over the past 6 months and not for the fact that they were voting for the first black president and wanted to say that "I helped do this" You can be rest assured that much of the black vote came to him b/c of this no matter what he was saying he was going to do or not do.

They leave because there is incredibly cheap labor in other countries. You know the same countries with major poverty and people work for pennies a day. Those people will always stay in poverty because the corporations will force them to stay that way. 'Take what little we give you or we will give the job to someone else' or 'take it or we will just up and move to another country'.
If you think this is a new phenomenon you couldn't be farther from the truth. Its been going on for DECADES under republican and democrat administrations. One party didn't make that happen. Thats just corporations moving to wherever labor and other costs are cheapest.

Cultural Marxism. Enough said. It was put into swing in this country in the 50's and has taken over. Look at this country in the 40's and 50's, the so called "leave it to Beaver" generation. Everything was fine. Blue collar fathers brought home a middle class salary, while the wife stayed home and raised the kids. life was fine. Introduce said Cultural Marxism into the country using the mass media. Boom, the 60's "revolution" all the way through now. All this "political correctness" is a direct result of cultural marxism, and is tearing this country apart. Do some research. You will see what I mean. Obama and a democrat controlled government will further destroy this country, and forever kill the values that we "used to" hold so dear.

My entire problem w/ obama is that hes going to further erode the ideas of what this country was built on.
Its no big secret that obamas ideas fall in line w/ Marxist and socialist views...and that is not good.

Quick question......
I am looking at finally upgrading from my old school Xbox. It's between the PS3 and the 360. I know you 2 are hardcore into gaming, so what is your opinions on each? I am leaning more towards the PS3 because of the blu ray, and because I would be using it on our 42" Plasma. Wii is out because it is not what I am looking for. I will most likely be playing Madden 90% of the time, with maybe a shoot em' up type of game once and awhile. Pros and Cons please.

You have a strange take on the 60's and its anti establishment. So why don't you try living like the crap you saw on TV in the 40's and 50's? Start dressing like that and sleeping in a seperate bed from your wife. Plus you can bring back the Racism that was so prevalent back then. The 60's witnessed some huge changes in RACISM and rights for women. It was a SOCIAL change so it must be Marxism. I wouldn't want to live in a world that was still like it was way back when. Change is inevitable. We as a people needed to change because it wasn't that nice back then if you were of a different color, religion or economic class. It wasn't a very nice world for a lot of people.
The guys you serve with if they are black would not be able to serve in the same unit as you and wouldn't be treated equally. Ask them how they would feel about that. Do you think that is a change that should have never happened?
Both systems are good. It will come down to selection of games that you like more then anything. The 360 has the Gears of War/Halo games while the PS3 has the Killzone/Resistance games. Not sure if your into Metal Gear Solid or God of war games but those are awesome as well. IMO the more/better exclusive games are still on the PS3.
The PS3 online is free, you have to pay $50 a year on the 360. Not sure if wifi matters or not but it comes standard w/ the PS3 and a $100 add on for the 360. The blu ray advantage is huge.
Ive always stuck w/ the Playstation and one reason has been reliability. I can still plug in my original PlayStation and my PS2 and they work great. Im on my second PS3 b/c I sold my first one and Ive had no issues w/ either. The 360 has been plagued w/ issues since its release. Mike has sent back 2 systems that have broken on him including his elite not to long ago which lasted 8 months. The 360 failure rate has been reported to be around 30% while the PS3 has been around 1%, the industry standard for any electronics acceptable failure rate is 5%
In the long run the graphics on the PS3 will be better then the 360. Metal Gear Solid 4 looks amazing we can both attest to that. The fact you get a blu ray player and exclusive games like Grand Turismo 5, Metal Gear Solid 4, Resistance 2, God of War 3, Killzone 2 (some mentioned are are not out yet) along w/ the reliability factor (there are countless threads on here in the electronics section of 360's that have have had a fatal demise) makes the PS3 a clear choice hands down. Unless you absolutely cant get by w/ out playing Halo games and Gears of War then I dont see any reason to lean more towards a 360. That's my opinion.
