The guy I bought the Cobra off from said he was expecting to be sent and up graded brake package but I guess who ever was getting it for him never did. If I ever did get it I would have sold you my SSBC 3 Pistons at a good price.

well you wont be seeing my ragtop next summer, not with me in it anyway, some one with more time came over and bought it yesterday, i want something like a saleen, or cobra anyway.. i would like to find something i can just buy and drive, and then mod as i see fit.. either that or maybe this winter buy a newer saleen or roush wrecked and have the guys in my shop fix it.

well maybe its good that you did not get it considering you would rather have a Saleen/Roush and your in a good situation as far as buying a wrecked one. One day Id really like to buy a 95 rolling chasis or something w/ a blown motor and make a 95 Saleen S-351 Replica.

This is exactly what I would like to build someday. Same color scheme. Something w/ a 347 or 351W and maybe a Vortech pushing 10PSI thrown on. Perhaps after this one is paid off I can think about something like this w/ another one.

that saleen is badass.. there was one in jew jersey i liked, i think it was a 95 black ragtop with chrome wheels but it had been vandalized.. ill find the one i want, i really like the 05 and up saleens..although a payment might not be so bad if it were on a 08 bullitt..

5 Lug Yellow Saleens > 4 lug Chrome Pony's

Yeah it is bad Ass Norris. I'll probably never have a real saleen so something like that would be the next best thing. Im not going to convert the one I have now into one b/c its a Cobra not a Saleen but perhaps once this one is paid off Id be able to. Price of lobster is too low to make money this last month or so and I have to make house payments, heating, food etc this winter.

Unlike Travis some of us do watch the news so I knew about the sharp decline in demand for lobsters. Most think of it as a luxury and in this economy most are doing without a lot of luxuries. I figured that had a lot to do with selling the car. Sorry to hear things are so rough right now. Are the Canadian importers at least buying the lobsters now? The news said that lobsterman were being told to not even go out last month because no one was buying.
Things at work are not as busy as they should be at this time of year. We normally would have more people working. I have noticed that work has pick up in the last couple of weeks but still not super busy. Its going to help us a bit that DHL is going away. My wife finally went back to work the other day and is working in retail again. It will be nice to have some more money coming in again.
Travis those yellow rims make me want to hurl chunks Chrome would be so much nicer on a car like that.

Every night Im not working and am home I watch the local and national news. Not much I can do about it on days I work b/c I dont get home until 6:45-6:55

Nope if I ever build one its getting yellow rims just to piss you off

i made a couple passes a few weeks ago...the track was **** and i never made a full pass

On my 2nd run i cut a 1.8 60 and then the car when into wheel hop really bad so i lifted...the first run of the night was similar with a 1.9 60

nobody could get past 100 feet that night without spinning something aweful
