I think I got 5% off there also. Probably the same coupon code. Code was Stangnet. That code took off just a little bit more than the cost of shipping and every little bit counts. I like finding those discounts by doing a search.
I read another post where someone ordered over the phone from Summit and mentioned that they didn't get that mailing but still wanted the discount. So they put in the discount for him. I'm going to try that one. Have to figure out what I need first then get the part numbers together.

Quite a few guys on here and that I talk to said they did not get the $50 discount so Im not sure what it was that that determined who got it and who didn't or if it was just random. I figured it was if you spent XXX amount through them in 08

Its always worth asking for. If they don't want to give it to me I will use the line that 'I will take my business elsewhere'. They want my business especially with the crappy economy. They don't want to possibly lose a sale.

there's a thread in 94/95 talk where a guy called up and asked for the discount and got it.

they couldn't take it off that order so they are sending me a gift certificate for the same amount. Axles and studs are supposed to be here tuesday.
Doesn't hurt to search for discounts and then ask the retailer for them.
Found $20 in a ATM on Thursday while shopping with my wife. Its the second time I have found a 20 in that machine. Love shopping there.

Finding money is always good. Years ago when I worked for a different company the boss asked if I would help her clean up around the outside of the building but I said no thanks and went home. The next day she tells me that she found a $100 bill while cleaning up outside. That sucked for me but she was super happy.
A few months ago I found $14 scattered around outside a place I was delivering to. Another day I found 2 $1 bills in different places while delivering. This doesn't happen very often but I wish it did.

Mike I thought you had the KDW2's like I have on the front of mine now?

Christmas is half over for me, had it here at my dads house last night and having the other half at my moms house later today. Got $150 in best buy cards a long w/ some other stuff but now I have to decide if I want to spend it on a new head unit for the Mustang b/c mines broken or spend it on a Hard Drive camcorder b/c Id like to start to record my runs at the track.

I can't recall now, but I think you are right. They came in a 305/18 that I used for the rear, that was just as wide as a 315 Nitto DR.

Katie and I bought a generator for each other for Christmas. We lose power out here all the time, so it was a wise choice for us. We also got a new Dell laptop which we both love.

I ended up with COD WAW for my 360, and Resistance 2 for the PS3.

Christopher got so many toys, we put all of his old toys in his room, and still managed to fill the living room up with all new just stuff

good idea on the generator. Wish we had one. Even being within 2 miles of town hall we have lost power more than a few times. A couple of those times we lost if for at least 2 days. THe recent storm we lost it very early Friday morning and didn't get it back on until 6pm on that Sunday.
Last spring we lost it for about 2 days. That time every thing this side of the turnpike was without power but the other side had power.

I still have a pair of ARP studs to have put in so its 100% legal at the track. Spent the last few trips at epping trying to dodge certain tech guys b/c they had noticed that I needed longer wheel studs before.

You probably say the same about KY Jelly.
I'm going to borrow a tool from a mechanic at work. Its used to press in ball joints but he said it will work fine for the studs. My impact gun will be an even better friend in this case.
Yesterday I changed out the rubber hose that goes from the chassis to the axle. I put in a stainless braided hose. That will add a little more braking power to the rear brakes.
I also got some new A arms from MM. They are lighter but should be more rigid that the stockers. Plus they come with SN 95 Ball Joints already installed and I needed those for the brake upgrade otherwise you have to run a cheesey spacer on top of the ball joints.
I was planning on going to Boston to go to the World of Wheels show but the snow storm put a damper on that.
Its getting colder and colder. Supposed to be in the single digits later this week. Going to be a rough week at work with all the cold weather.
