Everything went really well only one mishap being that my locking lug nut key went missing yet again which really pisses me off b/c I always put it back in the same spot and of course it was not there when we really needed it. W/ out the wheels coming off the springs would not come out. I got lucky and the Ford Dealer in Auburn let me borrow the correct lug key. The install was pretty straight forward, we didn't break any speed records installing them but it all went pretty smooth.

Cant wait to see how they improve my 60' times. Mike thanks for having me over and for the help w/ the install. It was good to see little chris (hes almost as tall as Nowak now) Katie and Shelby. We'll do it again in a little while b/c Im going to need a set of Caster Camber plates

The bottom line is that we took our time and did it the right way. Of course if we did it a few more times, we could shave a serious amount of time off the project.

Thanks for coming over, it's always good to see you bro

Nice looking LCA's, glad the install went well. So what was the exact moment like when you realized that you didn't have the key? I'm guessing the English language got abused a bit.....

I may be doing the cc plates also.

While I am waiting for the silicon sleeves to arrive I decided to clean things up underneath the car a bit.....Factory did not paint the axle tubes on these cars, just bare metal..

Also detailed front suspension...

Thats a really clean underside!!!

I realized it at the point where the car was on the jack stands and the instructions said to remove the rear wheels and the key was no where to be found in my car. I ordered the correct Key today so I should have it this week.

Yeah, I'd say the previous owner did a pretty good job of taking care of her....

I've run out of things to do on it now until the sleeves get here. The bap is in and working. I ran the dial inside to under the left side of the dash.

Waiting sucks.....

New parts or not the car will be on the road Saturday. If they haven't arrived by Friday I am just going to use the old sleeves. The weather is supposed to be great, gotta get the first cruise in.

I think Pete does live streaming of his dyno sessions. I may try to sneak away from my company on the 2nd to see how things are going for you.

a 2008
Got a message from the seller right after the auction closed. I sent him a few questions and I'm waiting for a reply. Might have to call him tomorrow. Need to call some shipping companies to get some pricing on having it moved from Tampa to here.
