Bunch of us getting together for a track day on May 16th. Its a saturday. You should bring yours down Bryan and see what it can really do now.

Just found out this morning that I have type 2 Diabetes. My HDL (good Cholestorol) Was really low and my LDL ( Bad Cholestoral) was so high that it would not register.

well those **********s in Omaha shafted me...they promised and promised but couldn't deliver...****s!!!!

Mike you can get a 07/08 GT500 for mid 30s if you look around...i would rack a black SS Camaro in 2 seconds!!! i saw one on the road yesterday and DAMN did it look sharp!!!

the 2010 Mustang is here too...looks real good, but i wanna wait until 2011 when it gets the 4V, 4Cam, 5.0 modular w/ 400 hp

Got the car back from the shop today. Went to put it in the garage b/c I wont be driving it again until this Saturday and the f'ing thing wont start. Cant wait to get the damn tune done.

Not sure of the cause. It runs in my dads side of the family. Some people can eat sugary foods there whole life and never get it and others do.

hay trav i just had my physical a few weeks ago and i found out that my bad Chol was 275 and my triglycyrides were twice the normal level

so i am on Cholesteral meds now lol

Welcome to the club!

The meds I got yesterday are working all ready. Didnt have to get up once during the night to take a leak. Before it was 2-3 times a night and as soon as I got up. I was drinking water all the time b/c my body is not processing the sugar in my system so my body is trying to flush it out by making me thirsty and then drinking all the time and having to piss non stop.

What did they give you for a Cholesterol med? They gave me Metformin. Bryan would love it b/c one of the side effects is diarrhea but I have not experienced that yet.

MSD Box took a dirt nap last night. Would not start after I got it back from chris shop. He came up today to take a look at it and found it it was the box, bypassed it and it fired up.

Man I didn't think you would have any problems with that. Your slim. I haven't had any of that crap checked but then again I don't go to regular doctor visits. Haven't been to a doctor in a couple of years. Usually only go when I have to get my DOT cert. every 2 years and they don't check that stuff.
Sorry to hear the bad news about the job offer. Are you currently employed? Something better will be around the corner.

Your both starting to sound like 2 old men comparing meds. Maybe you can start doing one of those commercials on TV about having to go all the time.
Hope you haven't been drinking that energy drink crap. Not that my diet is much better, I have 1 can of Pepsi a day. Yum yum yum I love Pepsi. Yum yum yum. Hate coffee!

Go Digital 6 pus. Thats what I have. Indicator light on the side will tell you if its running properly or at all. If that MSD came with the car you don't know how long its been around and how much heat it has been subject to. If you can find some space with a little ventilation you could mount a new one inside the cabin of the car and it will be subjected to less heat.

My bike was supposed to be picked up yesterday so hopefully it will be here next week and if not then then the week after.

got a email from the transport company showing the bike was picked up tuesday and it is in Orlando and scheduled to be loaded today then sent to Illinois. Then it says it will be here between the 5th and 15th. Thats a wide window. But it depends on when the next truck is coming my way from Illinois. Hopefully its on a early truck.
The paperwork for the bike showed up today. My wife just told me about it. Should have the key, title and registration.

On a different note why did you go to the doctor to have your blood work done? Been having health problems? Good thing you caught some of that stuff while you are still young.

for the past month and a half or so I had been thirsty all the time and going to the bathroom 2-3 times a night (getting up in the middle of the night) and all the time during the day. I went to the doctors to talk about that and they said it could be diabetes and then I got my blood tested and that's what it turned out to be.

I bet you also asked them to shove at least 2 fingers inside of you to check your prostate. You probably said 'Go deep'!
So do you have to meds for that now? Prick your finger a couple times a day? How about a change of diet. My mother has to watch what she eats and that way she has better control over the diabetes.
Make sure you pronounce it the way Wilfred Brimly does in those commercials. He makes it sound like its a completely different disease. sounds like 'Die-ABeatUs'

Damn that sucks mike, its ok though I'll let you know when Im going to head to the track again. I was hoping for next weds but I dont think the weather is going to cooperate. A bunch of us are getting together for a test and tune on saturday the 16th.
