BTW, who was the big trophy winner last year? And, probably a stupid question, do you guys ever take 'em to the strip? I had a young lady suggest to me that i should take it to oxford on thurday nites for $20 starting in may and it did look like a hell of a lot of fun when i went there last year.

I don't know who actually got the big trophy, but Fred(FEARNO1)and his '03 Cobra took 2nd or 3rd in the Mustang class. That was the first time I had met these guys in person. Ever since then we have all become friends, and love to do shows. Travis(Striped5.0)even shows up a few times a year. :owned:

Hey, how do you guys get 10.5 rims and 315's on? Do you take out the quad shocks or flip 'em around? I was thinking of going the same size but with 285's.

The Nitto 315 DR is perfect on the 10.5 rims. This was the setup I originally had on my GT, but put the rims and tires on my Cobra after I sold my GT. The fit was great on the GT, and fits well on the Cobra, but the tires will rub the IRS when the suspension is at full travel, which only happens on a lift. My car has an IRS setup, and yours being a '96 I am sure is different. If you do decide to go with 285's, get the BFG DR's. They are about as wide as a 315 Nitto DR for some reason, and many say they hook better at the track.
