Why is it that everytime Im expecting a package the UPS guy drives by my place between 9:45-10 AM and comes back by about 5 mins later but dosent stop? On the days Im expecting packages I always get them but why would they drive by my place and not drop them off then and come back later? I know they must set up there route to do as less back tracking as possible so Im kind of at a loss

Before 10:30am we are trying to get our Next Day Air deliveries done. They have to be delivered before that time or they show up as late and the shipper would be entitled to a refund. So I'm sure that driver is trying to cover a large area like I do and time is very short. Not a lot of extra time to do ground deliveries some days. Once our NDA packages are all delivered we tend to go back to the begining of our route to start the rest of our day. We try to follow a certain route as close as possible. Our vehicles are loaded this way. To try and find packages in the back or middle is not always easy. he prob doesent..lol. Hes prob thiking, WTF cant he order all this stuff at once so I dont have to come out here 3 times a week. I go in spurts when I oder stuff, I wont get anything for awhile then I'll get a bunch of stuff but it will call come on diffrent days.
If someone knows that they have something coming that day and they stop to ask me about it, I will try to find it. That is if I'm not in a major rush and or if I can get to the shelf where the package should be loaded. I try to help people who are nice to me. If someone is a pushy jerk then forget it you might have to wait till later. The route I was on previously there happened to be a jerk that lived in a area that I delivered at the end of the day. He would call the office to find out if I had a package for him and when I was going to be at his house. He would keep calling and the office would keep bugging me so I would go out of my way to make him one of the last stops of the day, between 6 and 8pm. He used to harrass the people in the office because he didn't get his way and he made one of the woman cry. He felt powerful talking through the phone. He was nice to me at first until he found out he wasn't going to get any special treatment. The Oh So Important packages were usually toy train crap or motorcycle/atv parts. The guy that took over the route from me soon found out what a Jerk that customer could be. The driver went out of his way to try and do something nice for the guy and it blew up in his face.Striped5.0 said:

Ok boys, I got a new apartment. I am officially moving to Lisbon Falls. I know I know, I wish that I found one in Brunswick again, but the soon to be wife is a pain in the ass and needs a place that has washer/drier hookups and allows a gay freakin' cat. So this is where I am stuck!! Its a nice place though, ALOT better then the crap hole I live in now!!
