Larry,

I would come up but Ive dumped way to much gas $$$$ into the car already this weekend w/ going to N.H and all my other various running around. Plus my brother is stoping by tomorrow to see my place b/c he hasent seen it yet. The dyno day was alot of fun, I dident run my car there was no point w/ the cluch still slipping. The heat effected everyones runs alot. Chris ALMOST got his 500, he got 482/496. I bet if it was a cool fall day he would have busted 500.

Andy, the guy that met up with us on the way to the dyno sent me an email, I just thought you guys would like to read...here it is,

Dan and SSOM....

Just wanted to drop a note an say thanks for the invite today, by Travis to your dyno day event....It was cool hooking up with you guys...
For awhile there I thought I missed the "stampede"...: ) I waited over an hour, looking and listening....
When I seen Freds Cobra, Chris's primo Fox and all the cars in a row its was, Ya baby....
My hat goes off to your club...You guys have some sweet rides for sure..From a guy who's NA, seeing what you guys laid down for numbers was crazy.....I was comtemplating a turbo set-up over the Winter and I think Chris and Brian kinda swayed me today...I may be asking for some input as you turbo guys have done it right.....Some insane numbers for sure all around...You guys definatly know how to tune em...Those Cobras are insane to...I follwed Fred home and listened to his exhaust all the way...Sweet sounding set-up...
Anyway...Thanks again gents...Wish I had something local like your club around here, You guys are tight ....thats cool...
Im heading to FFW this year and I see thats on your list of events...Maybe I can be an "honarary member" for a day.... : ) and line up with you guys.....Ill have to dig up Maine plate...LOL...

See you there....

Thanks....Andy ( 95 GT )

I liked him. He was an awesome guy. THAT CAR WAS BEAUTIFUL!!!! The only engine bay was AMAZING!

Thats pretty cool. Ive talked to andy alot on here over the past yr and he knows his stuff. Hes got an awesome garage w/ a lift as well   . His car is amazing , a new paint job does so much and under the hood is very well done. To bad there are not more members like that over in N.H so he could get a club together. Who knows maybe we will have to change it to SSONE ( Steet Stangs of New England) :D . That would be sweet but I like the smaller club thing better.

PS: Dan was my car really shooting flames out the tail pipes :rlaugh: :rlaugh: :rlaugh:

Yeah Andy's car definately is a nice car. That engine bay was beautiful..He's done a good job on it. Definately will have to let him know about our cruise to FFW so he can hook up with us.
I tell you what though Mike W about made me deaf at the Portland toll booth. His car let out a hell of a backfire that nearly blew out my ear drum.

That's cool, maybe you guys can come out another weekend. I can't wait to see those turbo's run. :)

Stopped at the winterport track this morning to see if they were gonna race and to see if any nice stangs were there. Saw a nice '01 GT vert the same red as Shaw's, and a nice silver, lowered '03 or '04 cobra in rockland yesterday. :nice: Made me wish I brought my car instead of the truck. :( The track looked worse than Oxford. :notnice: Fred, I thought you said it was better?

Dan, you hate Tourists? Join the club, I FN hate summer jerks!!!!! :bang: And call them by their proper name FN SUMMER JERKS! Oh, I forgot, you're from NJ. Nevermind. :rlaugh:

There, did I use enough gay smilies? :D

well, I still have some tweaking to do. The ignition upgrade was well worth it and I knew it would be. The car was a hell of a lot more consistent this time with each line almost being on top of one another. I might have some detonation at high RPM. There are so many more things that I could do to the car to increase my power but I don't feel like spending much more this year. That turbo kit was expensive. Soon I will try to get a new exhaust and gutted cat on it so I can pass inspection next month.
My best numbers were 469RWHP and 511RWTQ. I really think a upgrade in mufflers will help those numbers even more.
Fred, I just wanted to let you know that I have some equal length shorty CERAMIC coated headers, unequal length MAC headers(little rusty but good), and a stainless Bassani X pipe w/cats that are for sale and would fit the wifes' car. I also have a strut tower brace thats in excellent shape. Obviously this stuff no longer fits my car. I didn't buy cheap crap. The MAC headers came with the car. THis stuff would keep her car legal and release some power. :D Just something to think about.
