Thats what everyone says but I gotta tell you, since Ive been here Ive seen 2or3 03-04's.
I think all the guys that drive mustangs spend more time online than driving because all the mustangs I see are driven by females...

On a side note..I got my garage today finally...

It's a good read, but it's not the reason your trapping so low. In fact that lean tip in would affect your ET more than your trap speed. Sorry Mike, try again.
I know you don't want to believe me, but you need some steeper gears.. Let me ask you this: if you top out 3rd or top out 4th, which do you think would give you a faster top speed. Even with a gear change...

With 3.55's and your size DR's you have a speed of 113mph at 6800rpm's in 3rd
With 4.10's and your size DR's you have a speed of 127mph at 6800rpms in 4th

Need I say more....

I am not going to disagree with what you are saying Chris. The point that I am trying to make is that I should be trapping at a higher speed with the power that I am making, point blank. There are many guys with the stock 3.55 gears that are trapping higher than me, while making quite a bit less power. There is something besides my gear ratio that is the culprit, and I need to find out what that is before I take this blower and stuff it up KB's a$$.

if you wouldn't shift so slow you may trap higher :D

what was your trap speed anyhow???

:fuss: My best trap speed so far this year with the KB is 115mph  I probably would have trapped at 118-120mph on the run I did a 1.44 60' on, but I will never know because I downshifted and trapped at 83mph. Last year I was trapping 118-119mph all day long, so something is up, and I think it is this hesitation problem.

If you guys could feel this hesitation that I have between shifts, you would understand why I think it is costing me trap speed. It's almost like everything just stops for a split second, which at the very least is taking away my momentum.

Well **** bro, why don't you take it down to pete and have him tune it with raptor (SCT software)

I am waiting to here back from James to see what he thinks. If he has the answer, I will test the car this weekend at Epping. If that is not the solution, I will get it dynotuned by Horsepower by Herman next spring.
