Hopefully Mike and Fred had better luck today than we did. This season has sucked so far for getting down there. This is my third attempt with no luck:mad:

SURE DID!!!

Ok tonight went pretty well. The weather sucked 90F 78% Humidity ambient. 10mph headwind (right straight down the track!)

My first run

heated the nitto DRs (275/40) up pretty good for about an 8 second burnout

R/T - .760 i was sleeping
60' - 1.897 not bad I launched at 3k
330' - 5.267
1/8 - 7.980 @ 90.48
1000- 10.306
1/4 - 12.239 @ 116.03

Run number 2

R/T - .548 getting better
60' - 1.937, (alittle to much clutch to early)
330' - 5.294
1/8 - 7.990 @ 91.22
1000 - 10.307
1/4 - 12.233 @ 116.42

Next runs will be after my 3.73 gear, diff brace and bushing install

something interesting...I was shifting into 4th about 20yds in front of the line with the stock 3.27s at 6800rpm

Travis, the phone# to Butler and McMaster is 623-8895. Fred could also fill you in on what he knows about them. I have only heard good things personally.

Thanks for the # Mike, I'll have to give them a call tomorrow.

Worden- Not bad #'s at all considering the weather. With some better temps and the 3.73's you should be able to hit 11's

Aug 26th is the next test session at NED. There are 2 each month after that until Oct. Only 1 in aug though, prob b/c of everything else going on including FFW.

I have August 26th and September 23rd marked on my calander, as well as September 30th for the Tasca Mustang Showdown. Holy crap, they have like 8 T&T's in October though:banana:

Nice Runs Mike! Looks like you are improving on those 60' times. A little less heat, a slightly better 60' time, and you are in the 11's baby!! Looks like it's time for me to step it up with you beeing within a half second in the quarter:rolleyes:

Fred, did you get any runs in?

BTW Mike, you are way too consistent. You should be a bracket racer.

The ride home yesterday sucked. Heavy rain/traffic. 2 1/2 hour drive turned into 3 1/2 hours. Some guy on a green sport bike must have crashed in brunswick. He was laying on the ground looking unconcious and the cops were there when I drove by. Glad to here everybody made it home safe.

Let me know the next time you guys hit the track. We are doing a buy in at summit. I'll be giving you guys a call. If there is anything you guys are going to buy through summit or that summit sells, let me know. I can get it for you at whole sale. We have to do a $3000 dollar buy in, so I'am trying to get stuff that I can sell. So it doesn't sit around in our shop. Thanks...

Can you expand on that at all? Id like to have my motor built locally insted of having to get one shipped up here.

What would you like me to expand on??
They build alot of race motors(stock, street, and drag) for many people. They also do all the head work and machining in house(or at least they used to). I havent seen "power or dyno #'s" on there builds but I have seen many cars run with their motors and they were strong.Things could be different now I dont know. They may suck for all I know now....I dated a girl who's brother worked there. I also went to school with one the Macmaster's nephew.
