Ya, I talked with him for a bit. He is working on a turbo modular for his 88 lx. He showed me pics and it should be done for next year. Can't what to see it.

Travis as for the chrome fimish on the wheels you could be right. But what I was getting at is that I don't see what is all the fuss about those wheels?? I don't think they really look that great. :notnice:

I think they look good, I was thinking of the Steeda's again but I dont want to build the same car I did before either. Got all winter to decide on what rims I want anyway.

whats going on next weekend?
My car runs like it used to and will go past 5k RPM with the Tweecer shut off or with the stock program set in one of the positions on the Tweecer. Not the smoothest but it runs. I really need to spend some time learning how to set the thing up myself.

Test and Tune baby!! I finally got my 23* race tune from Pete, so it's time to let her rip!!

That will be a sweet creation with a built and balanced block. I also am not crazy about the rims. They look good on some cars but not all.

The Chrome finish on my FRs is pretty good

Chris, brian, i saw a turbo 5.0 fox today at Bradenton...the dude told me i was high when i told him about your cars....He claimed the EFI 5.0s were near impossible to tune in turbo apps. He blew his car up in the burnout box, funny as hell

Funny, everyones an expert. Impossible to tune huh??? Well, he never road in my car. You know how fussy I can be, so you know if I say it was running great and the guy who bought it says the same, then you know it's true. That guy is a tool. There are hundreds of turbo stangs running around that are tuned pretty well. Most of them tuned by thier owners...

Same guys boyfriend had a gt500 there with temp tags

His best run was 13.2 at 112, claiming traction problems, Funny how the 03 with 2.8 pulley, CAI, and Exhaust went low 12s on stock rubber right after him

BTW the GT500s suffer from wheel hop too!! not as bad as the IRS cars but you could see the car shaking some

Had a good time down at FFW today. It was a 1 day event this year, cause of the weather. They decided they would do it all today. Good turnout and I saw a lot people I knew. Got some good pics and got to see a Ford GT in person. Talked with Steve a bit. Lots of cars in the show section, but Charlie still had the best ride. I got some good info for my next build up. You guys better watch out, cause it will be sick!!!!

BTW, I saw a ton of cars with those FR500 wheels. I have to say, I not a big fan. They really don't look that great. I saw them on foxes and newer stangs. The chrome ones I saw had a really crappy chrome job on them. To each thier own I guess. Also saw the red and black notch that is on HP's website. Real clean car...

Chris -good seeing you again. It's been a long time. Can't believe you sold your car man! Hope the next project turns out even better. Just remember to skip the showfields and build it to tear up the 1/4...it will be more fun in the end (and for God sake's...if you want to get in the rags, don't paint it white! lol)

Ya, it was good to seeing and talking with you. I can't believe I sold it either. I'll definately get a hold of you when I need some advice on parts and where to get em. I plan on building a street/strip car. I know white was not the best choice, but I had to try... I hear that your running your car on a road race suspension. Thats got me wondering, if it is really possible to run fast at the strip and still get it to take the corners..
