New block would be sweet. Can't you buy a new 347 block from Ford through Summit? Not sure of the price but if all the machine work is done than that will save some time and money.

I can get the 347 block from RNH performance for $1,950.

To take my block and have it machined to a 347 and have the H/C/I installed will be about $2,000

I think my best bet is still going w/ a new RNH 347 block. With my block it could split 3 wks later and its no ones fault but my own.

Does anyone know if they cancelled the Test and Tune the day we went back in July? I saved the ticket stub just in case.
I found out that some tool in S. Maine bought a used turbo kit and put it on his SN-95. He didn't do any tuning! THat means he didn't pull out any timing. He didn't upgrade the fuel pump or injectors. The dope didn't do something else with the electronics in the MAF(not sure if he didn't put them inside the new MAF). Lets just say major detonation and puking the head gaskets out in a matter of moments.
Some people do not know what the hell they are doing or getttin them selves into.

That guy sounds like a total idiot , I know Im not the most versed person in knowing how to build a car but damn at least I know the fundementals and basics to know how to not blow one up.
