Hey mike how much of a bitch was it to install you Billetflow IRS diff brace....i just got one

It was pretty easy. I just removed my catback, and used a bunch of knuckles and extensions to get to the bolts. Make sure you have a tq. wrench so you can tq. all the bolts to specs.

So whats the damage bitches!!!!

Well we all got new best times, however myself in a much less dramatic fashion. I only made 2 passes all day. My first pass was right after we arrived, and my clutch was slipping BAD in first gear. I thought I was spinning, but Chris and Travis said I wasn't, and that after I started moving, they saw a bunch of smoke coming from underneath the car. The sniff test after I parked it confirmed that the clutch was slipping.

After a 2-3 hour cool down I decided to try it again, and be a little easier coming off the line. This worked, as the clutch held first gear this time, but only resulting in a 1.961 60' time. Pass 2 results;

1.961 60', 7.754 1/8 @ 98.29, 11.702 1/4 @ 126.32.

This is only a few hundreths better than my previous best 1/4 mile time, but is a vast improvment in my MPH, so it gives me hope as to what the car is really capable of. Looks like it's time for a new clutch, and some Level 5 half-shafts or a solid axle so I can launch the $hit out of this thing and get it into the 1.5-1.7 60' area.

Here are my choices;

Spec 99-04 Cobra/Mach-1 Clutch Kit (Stage 3+)

Stage 3+ Clutch Kits:3-Piece disc with SPEC's exclusive X-Pad material, which is a combination of carbon and ceramic material and a full face clutch disc. The Carbon material adds a little better feel for the street, while the ceramic material adds a more aggressive feel. Sharp but smooth engagement, light pedal, and a 800 rear wheel torque capacity.

The Stage 3+ features a streetable high clamp pressure plate and full face carbon semi-metallic disc. Listed as an upgrade to the stage 3, it offers torque capacities more comparable to the stage 5 but with drivability equal to, and in some cases better than, the stage 3. The high capacity and excellent drivability characteristics of this clutch is a result of years of research and development for this SPEC exclusive disc compound.
