they have been talking about rain for a few days now.
I'm not going to the show. I need to use that time to try and figure out what is wrong with my car. Found out that it wasn't detonation I was hearing but a loud tapping. It has the same sound you would get from a leaking header gasket. The noise isn't coming from the headers though. The noise doesn't appear to come from the heads but I can definitely hear it in the area of the intake. Plus its running rough. Hope its noting major.
Going to pull the upper plenum then the valve covers so I can check the valvetrain and its operation. OH WHAT FUN

Eek, hopefully it is nothing major, like a burnt piston, or a bent rod. Keep us informed.

I still might go over depends on the weather but at noon Im heading home anyway.

Mike-

Thanks for having me over. First time I got to really log any time on a 360 and over all I was pretty impressed. The graphics in Madden were top notch. We'll deff have to get to get together again when the PS3 comes out.

No problem Travis, nice having you over. You can be sure we will get together when I get my PS3.

BTW Travis killed me 5 games in a row at Madden, but I beat his a$$ good at fight night round 3

Yeah that was alot of fun. You deff had me at fight night. That first fight was close though....damn cut :nonono:

Still maintain my supremency in Madden :D You did good though we had some close games, you didnt take any brutal beatings like worden did when he ran his suck pump then got beat like a lil bitch. I was real impressed w/ the graphics in Madden. Thats the first next generation game that really set me aside ( fight night RD 3 did as well) Make sure to reserve a PS3 game if you want to get one on release day b/c there going to go like hot cakes.

Then why don't you? Just think of all theat power in that light car:crazy: You could get 600-650 at the wheels without ever lifting a valve cover.....

Its deff an idea Im going to throw around. Depends on whats out there when I do have the money for a new motor.

BTW: Nothing but sunshine here this morn.

I was just in town and drove by there. That place looks packed. looked like there were some cars up in the lowes parking lot as well. That show is getting pretty big. I would have gone but no one else seemed to be going so not much point.

Went to the show. There was a real 2000 Cobra R there, sweet car. There was only 4 cars in the mustang class that we are in. There was a 1988 saleen that had a worked engine and vortech. He said it has 650 rwhp and had the dyno sheet to prove it. He said he's running 15 psi. I tend to believe him and we talked for a while. He called saleen to get the history on the car and they told him that Tim Allen owned the car, kinda neat. He also mentioned that any number below 300 was a corporate car. In a whole the show sucked, very little turnout. Maybe because people thought it was going to rain. Anyway, can't wait till Tasca day!!!

just to let you know we are screwed for Tasca Day. This is only because I am home, and god hates me. He will make it rain that day. Notice how it was beautiful when I was in the middle east, and the last 2 weeks since I got home the weather has sucked? Funny huh......

I feel your pain Dan, it has been the same way for me every time I have made plans to go to NED, with the exeption of this last time. But what happens when I finally do make it down, just a smoking clutch:mad: Speaking of clutch, I could smell it on Saturday just doing some casual driving around town.
