I prob was spinning but its hard to tell when your running b/c you just have so much going through your head all at once. Thats when it helps to have someone else there to watch or video tape it.

The other thing that pissed me off is I go through all this crap to get a cut off switch put in for the battery and they dont even check it :bang: all they saw is that there was a switch there, they did not ask me to pop the trunk to see if it was hooked up or even have me start the car and switch it to OFF to see if it even worked. I know I could not get away with it for long if it was not actually hooked up but dont kick me off the track one week, then not even check to see if the switch I had to get to be legal was even in working condition or not :bs:

This was my first run where I had one hell of a roasty toasty burn out. Left hand lane sucks though

probably not. I could have gotten in much more then 5 runs last night but when my last 3 were all clicking off at 13.7 I knew there was no point, the track conditions and temps were just not going to permit it. It was a great night to run though if you wanted to pound out a lot of runs b/c there were very few cars there at all. My last 3 runs were all back to back at 8:55PM, 9:03 and 9:11

whats up guys! Well we are getting hit with tropical storm Barry right now. Usually I would be pissed about getting a weekend day rained out, but I am freaking doing backflips right now cause we needed the rain so bad. It is downpouring and I am loving it! It is expected to rain hard enough to put out all the wild fires, so that is awesome too!:hail2:

well a million thanks to Chris for helping me with the trans. Would have taken me a hell of a long time to do it by myself. Clutch and trans work great so far:nice: . I have a oil leak behind the intake to fix:notnice:
The big disappointment comes from the fact that the flywheel that I waited weeks for does not fit. It took us a long time to figure out the problem. They drilled the bolt hole pattern BACKWARDS!!! So it could not go on unless flipped the wrong way. Good thing my old flywheel had low miles and was in great shape.
To tired to do anything else today.
The article in Modified Mustangs had a ton of really nice pics of Chris' car and being on the cover is awesome!
Thanks again Chris!!:flag:

No problem, Glad to see it went together without any major problems.

Guys, I'am on the cover of Modified Mustangs this month, go pick one up!!!

well Mike and I got the exhaust system on my car. Over all it went pretty well no major issues or hang ups. Over all the magnapacks sound EXTREMELY Mean but it its damn loud, I mean loud!!!!!!! After giving it some thought Ive decided to get a catted X pipe to quiet it down. It just screams please pull me over and give me a ticket. Over all though Id have to say its one of the most intimidating Mustangs Ive ever heard. Of course on the way home I come across 3 state troopers and 1 cumberland county cop :nonono:

Heres an interesting pic, I saw this written on the drive shaft. The picture has been reversed in case your wondering.

Heres a vid clip of the exhaust, Im not sure how well the sound quality is but you have to hear this in person to actually hear how loud it is.

Mike-

Thanks for all the help I really appreciate it. I'll get an catted X pipe and we can do that sometime, It wont be anytime soon though unless Im forced to by the local po po

BTW- I found Pepsi and dropped that binder off for you.

You're gonna like that tranny, Bryan.

As I mentioned to Chris, its going to take a little getting used to. First gear isn't as far over as it was before. It is notchy as many have said about the Tremecs.
It does pop very easily from the far left or right back to the center. I think that will make it easy to shift from 2nd to 3rd ,no need to force it. Its a brute and built to take a pounding. I'm gonna love that thang.
The clutch is better than I expected as far as street manners go.

I just looked and I'm not sure if its from the back corner of the right valve cover or the back of the intake manifold. Need one of those telescoping small mirrors to get a good look back there. Without tons of driving around yesterday with Chris, there is defiitely a coating of oil on the bellhousing and trans now. It was dripping a little in the driveway when we got back.
I think Chris really enjoyed driving a powerful fox again. Made him miss his car even more.
