did you get the cover and hood on? hows the color match? its tough without the vehicle

its on. Just took me some time.
The color looks pretty close. Little brighter but I would expect that due to the age differences in the paints.
The hood has some spots in the clear where something is trapped in the clear. There are little bumps of either dirt or chunks of clear that you can see and feel. Right where the nose of the hood meets the bumper cover(the thin edge) are some runs that are easy to see and feel. I would think that stuff just needs a little sanding.
Now I just have to find time to bring the car over. I'll have to find a day that my wife doesn't have to go to work early.

GOD DAMN UPS!!!!!!!!!!!!! :fuss:

After spending 20 minutes on the phone with them yesterday and lodging some complaints, they are coming over today to fix it.
I was not impressed with the customer service and let them know it. Its ONLY taken 5 days to get some positive results. I'm sure we would have had to wait a lot longer if I hadn't complained and lodged a complaint against a couple of employees. One woman was rude and threatening to my wife. It was minor threats of 'we could either be put at the top of the list or the bottom if you don't like it'.

I bet Worden has already rubbed his nuts on one.:D

Im sure he did. Tea bag Teh shelby :D

Talked to Chris yesterday, looks like Mon/Tues to get the car into his shop. Ordering that 97MM Abaco Mass air Meter today.

Oh yeah, no more gas stations in Raymond or Windham that carry 93. The Mobil at the corner of 302 and river road has now gone to 91. The only gas station I know of around here now that still has 93 is one in gray on the way into gray center. Guess Im going to have to get the car tuned on 91 octane.

Had to take a class and get sprayed w/ OC Spray ( pepper spray) at work today, have to be certified to carry it and you need to be sprayed to get certified and attend the 1 hr class. That $hit is god damn nasty!!!!!! I can still feel the effects of it a few hrs later, taking a shower made it worse b/c what was in my hair washed onto my arms and back in my face. Not a good time.

They've got a blue gt500 in Rockland, it's been there about a month now. Makes me wonder if they're still getting 30k over sticker.

I saw that one a few weeks ago at Rockland Ford when I was setting up a special event. If I remember correctly, they wanted over 57k for the thing. It's a shame that these cars are so far out of reach for the average person. Even the silly Shelby GT's are priced way out of wack for what they are.

Mike, you still have the jeep?? Adam broken a piston in his. Come to find out that the engine is not boost friendly. Not just because of the compression ratio, but also the cheap pistons and the cam which has a 120 LCA that keeps so much exhaust in the chamber it rattles the pistons. Need less to say chrysler did as little as possible to get the engine to last with the power levels it has stock. With a power adder you will either break a piston or spin a bearing, cause of the tight bearing clearances. So, we are going to ditch the stock short block for a built 426 hemi with a more boost friendly 9.3 to 1. We will get the heads ported to the max. When all said and done it will have around 700HP with 5 psi, with the ability to run up to 10. The engine builder said that with the 426 it will be a monster at the track. I would have to say the nothing will keep up with it on the streets... We will keep the stock torque converter, because any higher stall speeds will break axles.. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.
