Well the deal on us buying a house fell through. The water had Arsenic and we couldn't come to an agreement on how the situation would be fixed. So we are back to looking for a new house again. One month from now this place will be sold and we need to find an apartment to live in temporarily. Thankfully there are winter rentals along the coast.

wow its been dead in here. Think the longest stretch ever.
On vacation next week which will coincide with moving. Everything is moving forward on both houses.
Meeting up with the seller next week before the closing so he can show me how the water filtration system works and answer any questions I have about the house or property. That was a nice thing to do.
The broker found someone who would be interested in buying some of the equipment in the barn that I won't need. Not like I will be keeping horses. Nice quality doors on the stalls and the electric fence will be finding a new home at some point. I'll tear down the individual stalls to open up the barn and make room for my car and other stuff. I have bigger plans for the barn than keeping animals in there.

would the plans involve a lift?

Ive been checking here every day to see when someone would use some CPR on this thread. Moving day is close for me to, Have gotten a lot of things over there already but some of the big things like the computer desk, bed, TV stand, arir compressor and garage stuff exc exc will all have to go on the actual moving day

Thats awesome Bryan. How big is the barn? I was on vacation this week. Spent the week repainting my girlfriends car. Didnt come out to bad. I'll post up some before and after pics once I get some new ones.

not sure of the dimensions. 2 stalls on each side plus some space in the beginning on each side for storage. There is a hay loft that can hold a lot of crap.
There is a shed roof off on side that allowed the horses to come in out of the sun. That area is plain dirt and dry manure :D.
There are two main beams that run the length of the barn on each side of the center aisle. Those are held up buy some beefy wood posts. The guy that did the inspection told me I could put up some I beams that only need support at the very ends and that would allow me to take out the wood posts. That would allow me to open up the area without posts getting in the way.
Not sure when this will be done because I'm sure there are other things that need to be done to the house first. I'm sure my wife will want to finish the room over the garage first to be the new master bedroom and bath.

well I'm all moved into my new place. The cable and internet is up and running. Just a lot of un boxing and organizing left to do. I'll throw up some pics when everything is all set up and the garage is organized

Took everything out of the garage today and gave it a good sweep job and organized some of my stuff. Still have to build a good bench and get some cabinets but its a start.

Adriann and I had to put Brady to sleep today. It was very hard to deal with but it is slowly getting better. His liver was failing and he was about 10 years old so his time was up and neither of us wanted him to suffer so we had to make the hard decision this morning. Wish he could have spent more time with us at the new house but he will not be forgotten.
