its deff a sucky time to by an AR if your not willing to wait. I bought some of that Frog Lube that I had been hearing so much about since I could not decide on one lube or cleaner over the other. I applied it to the AR and the .40 today and its some pretty awesome stuff. The slide on the .40 is so smooth.

Theguy that did my transfere works at cabelas. He said people were fighting over a small lot of bulk 5.56 ammo. The are even scarfing up .22lr. What ever comes in disappears fast.

na, shes never here anyway. I have not seen any ammo at cabelas for along time now, anything being .40 or 223. Walmart didn't have anything today.

Did some stippling on the .40 grip and one of my polmer mags. I'll finish the polymer mag outside it stinks pretty bad. The added grip on the .40 is amazing so much more control over the gun. I have two of the grips done and then I'm going to do the contact points on the gun its self.

It is very time consuming. I got all 3 grips on the .40 done today and the grip on the AR. All where a huge improvement. I'll see how much more I get done tomorrow/sunday. I want to do the front grip on the .40 and am thinking about to do where my thumbs rest.

Got the front grip done, still holding off on where my thumbs go for now until I see some more pics of how others have done it. Also did some paint work on the inlays on each gun. The .40 did not come out as nice as I would have liked that color was a lot thinner then the white/red plus the indentation in the metal was not as deep as in the AR

yeah I debated it for awhile. Easy to remove if I decide I want to go back. I'll see how it holds up if it does not that well then I'll just take it all off.

didn't put the lower parts kit in the lower receiver yet. I did check the lower to upper receiver fit and it was nice and tight. Don't have to worry about any slop.

emailed a place I ordered some steel mags from at the end of January. They now are thinking that it will be another 9-10 weeks. Holy crap!

I placed an order for 3 Magpul mags in Jan and I still dont have them yet. I'll have to call them next week they said they were filling back orders in Feb.

Bought a new TV the other day, decided to step up to a 3D TV. Wont be here until next week but I'll post pics when I get it all set up

There is a place here in windham selling them for $18.oo. Think I'll just go by there and pick some up

Picked up another 40mm ammo can at KTP. Only $15 and in fantastic shape. Came with the real strong foam that seperated the rounds.
