I was looking at lmperformance.com a few days ago, and saw that they have a SSS (Stainless Steel Systems) Exhaust System for sale, and was wondering if anyone has it. Does it sound good?

Thanks

No and no. I've never heard of SSS exhaust system.

When it comes to exhaust, I say go with tryed and true set up such as Magnaflow, Flowmaster, SLP, Bassani.

They are very populer for very good reason

+1 , iv heard it and it sounds kinda like you gotta floor it to get any real grunt out of it, not that it isnt loud cruising; it just doesnt sound meaty. Maybe the car only had a cat-back tho. I've never had just a cat back on my car b4 so i dunno.

+2 Go with what you know is good. Not only should you consider sound but also fit and finish. Is it worth saving a buck or 2 if the install puts up more fights than a good episode of COPS, only to leave you with rubbing and leaks? Now, I don't know of their exhaust and it MIGHT be okay, but the afformentioned other companies have made a HECK of a lot more systems and you know and I know and we all know that they know how to make a system correctly. And if you don't want your car to sound like every other Mustang with Flowmasters on it then mess around with different mid-pipes. A little searching (and some listening on mustangexhaust) can get you an idea of what the different brands sound like.
